Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Does anyone know what happened to the plan for water taxis in the flats and around the lakefront, whiskey island, etc. They were announced originally that they would start service this past Memorial Day, and be run by the Metroparks but I can't find any info on when they were delayed until.

Houlihans closed in Tower City? I was looking at google maps, don't ask, and noticed that it said that Houlihans was closed. Any insight? Maybe we can get something good and local in there?

Scene article about the new Pizza 216 http://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-heard/archives/2015/06/16/new-york-style-pizza-shop-coming-to-heart-of-downtown Really interested to see how two brand new pizza places will do basically opening across the street from each other. This one has 12 beers on tap so that will be enticing.

Urban Farmer is from a Portland based restaurant group that opened up their second location with that name here. (Sage restaurant group) Oh, did you mean Portland's beer to return the favor? I'm sure I'd be okay with that too.

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
Yeah, that is the reason for the seat removal, the empty seats were not helping the bottom line of the organization. I think the question of the boxes is more, why are they raised instead of lowered? My memory tells me that this is because the concrete it is built on is like a big staircase, if you look from below when you're out at the concession stands, you see that above you. Flattening/lowering that level instead of raising it all to the height of the furthest back part would require major construction work.

The sign is almost directly across from the entrance of the lizard, I assumed it was an advertisement to get people to turn around and go back inside the lizard for more food and drinks, something like, 'thank you, come again'

Are they open to selling the buildings individually? Anyone want to give me money to buy and re-open the Odeon? I never went in during the incarnations of Heaven/Earth/whatever after the Odeon closed, so I have no idea what the state of the interior would be like.

Cleveland: Which Project Will Be Next and Why
Is mariner's watch a success yet? I've heard from an early resident that its mostly a shell of a building still. Elevators aren't working, and they're not collecting rent yet due to the project not being complete. Advertised move in dates were around Dec 20, and I'd expect the building to be complete for move-in?

Would we still be complaining about the new Mayfield Hts location if it didn't also include the closure of the Coventry location? I don't have a problem with the expansion, but the closure of a neighborhood institution stinks. From what I recall, there are three storefronts put together in the Coventry lizard space, maybe they could have just gone down to two? I'm also interested to see how it will be having two Winking Lizards downtown so close to each other. I think that the Winks location is able to survive on profits alone made on browns game days, and they seem to do a solid weekday lunch business. I hope they keep their beer menu tv's!
