Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I am thrilled that the smokestack is finally being removed. There is no way Gilbert would allow that structure to stay in the background behind his beautiful, modern facility that is being constructed. There are plenty of smokestacks in dilapidated buildings in Cleveland to look at.

A lot of cities would die to have a neighborhood like University Circle.- Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
I do not see a reason for Bibb to cave at all. Even with State funding Haslam is significantly short on funding without the County and BP support. The legal aspect of this will push out the construction timeline. No way they start construction without having the legal issues settled. One more unknown is the economy given the tariffs and it is looking more like we are headed towards a recession. Construction may very well increase beyond $2.4billion. I believe Bibb has played things well.- Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
He was County Planning Commission and City of Cleveland Planning Director. This gives him enormous credibility in term of what he laid out during is presser.- Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Ronayne is by far the most impressive CC Commissioner that I have seen. He rolled out the facts (using data) and urged the State to do the same.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Is this not what the Flats East Bank wanted to be?- Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
I'm confident Lerner included a clause in sale of the Browns to Haslem that he could not move the team from the region. Also, the NFL would not allow that to happen to Cleveland again given the how the community supports such a perennial losing team. This team is making lots of money, but Haslem want's more cash. It's pure greed!- Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
That smoke stack really needs to go!- Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
They are attempting to transform what was once one of the three best stadiums in MLB into the tackiest.- Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Toby Cosgrove actually lived in Hunting Valley, not Cleveland, as stated in the article. He does not acknowledge how the Browns' move to BP could negatively impact the core city of the region.- Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News

This is such good news and somehow the cleveland.com headline is about an empty IBM building rather than a well-known Healthcare company relocating to Cleveland. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2025/02/the-ibm-building-in-cleveland-is-always-empty-a-new-company-has-plans-to-change-that.html- Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Mayor Bibb deserves a lot of credit for getting this done. WSM was a disaster under FJ.- Cleveland: Cleveland Clinic News & Info
The Clinic will need to increase its staffing for the expansion of the Cole Eye Institute, the new Neurological Institute, and the Pathogen Research and Human Health Center. The growing footprint of these facilities will certainly help offset the current reduction of 114 staff.- Cleveland: East Side Neighborhood Development
