Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Fahrenheit has to be chomping at the bit for staff to move in to the SW Building. I'm sure they are seeing dollar signs.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
PHS has done nothing but impressive work. Very encouraging for the area.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Bibb is very bright. My sense is he will come up with an option that we are not even considering like he did with the new police headquarters in the ArtsCraft Building. I don't see the Browns leaving the city, but I do potentially see this playing out in a way we have yet to consider.

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
All the Progressive Filed signage looks absolutely horrible. The stadium was a classy top three when it opened and not close to that any longer.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Looks fantastic! Will definitely bring foot traffic to the river. A good first step.

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
Extremely encouraging! Cleveland appears to be on an upward trajectory.

I don't see it as a loss, but an opportunity to use the lakefront in a more prudent way. I also don't care if the Browns play 8 or 9 games a year in Brook Park if in return there is residential built on that location.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
I can't tell you enough how cheap and tacky that stage looks. It is typical cheap Clevelnd design.
-
Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Looks very old fashion. Something you would expect to see in Cleveland such as the typical large chain link fence, cheap pavers and a extremely tacky monument. They really need to look at how other cities like Chicago (even Detroit) have dressed up their waterfront.

Cleveland: Downtown & Vicinity Residences Discussion
It is a very good article because Cleveland is a leader by transitioning office space and making downtown more of a neighborhood. Very ncie.

Detroit: Developments and News
Outside of Chicago, I believe Detroit has the most impressive skyline in the Midwest. This new building by Bedrock will add a much needed pop of glass as is also the case with SW new building in Cleveland. Both cities are on the rise IMO. The new cities will never have the old historic to blend with new modern construction.

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
This poster is so right. Some of the stuff people want to preserve is just silly. You have to let some stuff go for the better.

Thought? I can see both sides. https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2023/12/short-term-pain-long-term-gain-cleveland-chips-away-at-social-safety-net-in-pursuit-of-revitalized-city.html

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
I'm certain the Bibb administration tried, but some companies just would rather be in the burbs.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
I believe those teams that played under Kevin Macky would have put butts is seats at the Wolstein Center. It was unfortunate that they built that arena because the team was a draw back then and Mackey's personal issues deraied the momentum. Mike Boyd could never recruit the type of players that Macky would get. Walters had a nice run with Damon Stringer. Macky's teams were a cut above all the other teams.

Cleveland: Retail News
I'm not confident that there are actually 20k people living in downtown (perhaps is some Downtown Cleveland Inc. expanded footprint way). I was in Cleveland for the Browns home opener with my girlfriend a few weeks ago and the city looked as empty as I've ever seen it. There were literally no cars on the streets and very few people walking around (not talking about the day of the game). There needs to be convenient items to bring people out of their apartment to product pedestrian traffic. I would start small with basics that renter need such as Dry Cleaners, another drug store such as Walgreens and specialy stores. I don't see a home run comming, but a few really good placed singles would do a lot. Heinen's is a good example that actually brings out some level of foot traffic and it's nice to see people carring grocery bags around downtown.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I can't say enough how much this building was needed to modernize the city skyline. The mix of old and new has always been what has impressed me with Chicago.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
They should put a few more Progressive Field signs on and around the stadium to make sure people know where the Gaurdians play.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
The Land is silly! Cleveland trying too hard to be cool.

Cleveland: Fairfax: Development and News
If you own a home in Fairfax, keep it! That neighborhood is on its way.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Stop! I grew up in Cleveland! I'm just keeping it real. I beleve there is enogh population downtown however for some reason it does translate to pedestrian traffic except for events.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Completely agree.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Looks great but I'm amazed at the lack people and traffic! When you can stand in the middle of the street and take a picture, that says it all.
-
Cleveland: Mayor Justin Bibb
Agree there can be better imagery and the hero image is an old pic of downtown but it is an significant upgrade and what is most important is the navigation and ability to find what you need is much better.

So refreshing to see these minor but needed changes. https://clevelandohio.gov
