^Fun game. The Cavs were starting to string some wins together. Its possible they could’ve played themselves out of a top 5 pick in the draft. I’m just hoping the Cavs pick Obi from Dayton and use him as a Small Forward. He’s the player with the highest ceiling. Lebron-esque even. They are projecting him as a power forward. Assuming Tristan heads to LA, that is a need as well for the Cavs. If Drummond signs elsewhere they definitely need a big. With a 7ft wing span and 40% from 3pt land, Obi will stretch the floor. It looks like his weakest part of his game is free throws at 70%. But with Bball a full time job that will likely improve.
  2. There is a good potential to have the most Amtrak friendly president ever in Biden. Also with worries about climate change there should be more impetus for high speed rail in a Biden administration . The 4 wasted years are nearly over.
  3. ^It would certainly give some character to the area once it gets a gigantic parking deck. I certainly thought it was a throwaway building. That would be nice to see SHW incorporate the building into their plan. If not that, maybe add some of the motif or stylings to the new complex.
  4. Yes and I’m not surprised it is successful. There were some questions when the virus first was coming out whether there were agents in the blood that would be left to attack the virus again. The answer is very much likely yes. This was such a small sample I have to believe they are going to make this much larger.
  5. Further good news(or bad news for KJP)from testing in NY from a doctor: @FaheemYounus: Treatment news! 5 critically ill COVID patients (on ventilators) received antibody-rich plasma from 5 other patients who had recovered from COVID. Results: 3 discharged; 2 in stable condition! Now 1 of my recovering patients wants to donate his plasma! https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2763983?resultClick=1
  6. There was a hit piece put out on this stock on seeking alpha. The guy basically says everything about ATHX is garbage and is short and feels the value is $0. That is mainly why this dropped so heavy. It probably is a good time to jump back in. The author of the article didn’t really leave his name but its understood he has a libel suit against him.
  7. I went to the yahoo posts to see what is going on. They said that the CEO was on Fox being interviewed. So it now has a chance to be seen and touted by trump. That means that this plus the 15 million shares today it is now in the land of super hype. All logic and reason goes out the window now.
  8. The benefit to them is if you are looking to go long on a stock, you can usually put a limit order on a stock 10 cents below where a stock is sitting(not 52 week lows) and there is about an even chance you’ll be able to buy there. I’m kind of kicking myself for not putting a bid in last week at 1.60 for AtHX. In general, yes they suck the wind out of a stock. I can certainly see where this stock can triple from here based on hype from the pumpers and dumpers that will certainly start to come around when a stock is hot and a fairly low price and could get approval soon(which is all the more reason to hype it). I personally think $3 is a good valuation based on where the company is now and that Healios has gone long.
  9. ^Those are games short sellers play. They sell, sell, sell after a couple days push higher in a hot stock. Get the price down and buy back at a profit and then go long from there because they will at some point do the same thing again in a couple more days.
  10. I guess what i was saying that i feel that Hudson is split in parts by where they live. Actually I’ll change it again. People that live North of the Turnpike and West of 91 are more Akron centric. People that live North of the Turnpike and East of 91 are more Cleveland focused. They are living close to a 480 entrance for a reason. That was mainly all part of Hudson Township and so has many housing developments in last 20 years because of that access.
  11. Macedonia, Twinsburg, and Streetsboro are no-mans lands. Hudson is exurbia for Clevelanders like Solon because of the easy link to 480. I would say North of the square people are living there so they don’t have to go through that awful 91-303 intersection. Same with the people that live South or West of it. I do hang out at a pub quite a bit in the North of Hudson and most of those people never go to Akron and have little interest in going to Akron other than work for a few. Most of my other friends from Hudson mainly live or hang out in Akron area.
  12. There is a long term view to this stock that could make this a lot of money from both stroke and ARDS globally that would be over a 3-5-10 year period. There is a very short term view as well based on the hype. There has been virtually no publicity for this stock nationally. With the large leap in stock price today it will start to be noticed by the day traders. We are entering the painful month of April and that is when Dewine might be making a plea for trump to push this as a solution as well. When it is clear there are not enough ventilators, this will be considered the last option.
  13. What I’m saying is get some kind of commuter going with DMUs along the lakeshore routes. They don’t need to go to the downtown lakefront until there is more volume and the lakefront “hub” is ready. The DMUs can stop at a red line station that way there is more frequency. You can’t do it all at once. If those are the first trains coming in, there is barely anything to connect to lakefront downtown at the moment. So those will likely be very empty until many more options are available. There isn’t enough density in Summit county to make a commuter rail line worthwhile. A stop in Macedonia on a train going to Pittsburgh or going to Cleveland, sure. Faux commuter train of the CVSR is likely good enough. If people in Solon or Summit Co need to be near downtown Cleveland they can move closer. Next steps come down to leadership in the various communities and transportation organizations.
  14. Love the idea of commuter to Lorain. Think the rest of commuter train ideas are pointless as ROWs are too tricky. Also think it could be more efficient for Lorain commuter to finish at West Blvd especially if there is a streetcar option down Detroit in addition to the red line options. There is no point except for football games for most people to be dropped off at the lake. Commuter implies daily. I think the waterfront loop looks great with the interplay of playhouse theaters and CSU. I have a feeling some kind of connection with the CVSR will happen before any of these other ideas. They are buying more train cars and engines as well as renovating their rolling stock. They are getting a new stop in the valley in Akron. I think they want to make that push towards downtown Cleveland very soon. Only thought on East side is i’m surprised you didn’t push for extending green line towards 271. I would think that would be a popular option for people on 271 to get off and hop on the rapid.

^I’m not sure whether you think that is high or low. In the Cleveland area it ranges from $1.06 to $2.39 for gas. It’ll be sub 1.00 in a week.
  16. ^I figured it was internet garbage right away since those are all separately owned and they have only been closed a week. You would have to be a hell of an insider to know what is going on and it wouldn’t be some garbage list from a random person on twitter/facebook. I also would not be shocked to learn that person is a trumper.
  17. That is wild. Would they ship excess via rail East? I’m sure it would be pointless getting it to Louisiana or Houston. If shale is slowing down around here, there might be openings in refineries in the Midwest and East, if they can handle that type of oil. The other aspect of this, not to get too crazy off topic, is that the corn and ethanol prices are near historic lows as well. Sounds like we should be under a buck a gallon for Summer.
  18. Thats kind of what i had hoped that he would have more NY and NJ people in his administration that cared about at least the tunnels. I figured as a NYer even if he never used the subway he would understand that it is a priority for the economy of NYC. As a “builder” he would be all about helping his friends in the concrete business. But alas no. He has moved beyond NY and has no need for them so they and the rest of NY are dead to him.
  19. i disagree. What does recklessly have to do with anything!?! If there is demand, nobody knows if that is “reckless” or not. 5000 people buying up all the toilet paper available is not reckless?
  20. ^It does look like it has positive clinical trials going on in Japan. The question would be, say they get approval by June even(trump panic), how fast would it be for them to start ramping up production and deployment? Are they using stem cells to create multistem? I would think that would limit how fast this could be ramped up, if so.
  21. This might be a good time to pass an infrastructure bill while the roads and bridges are mainly empty.
  22. ^Dude, they had $300,000 in revenues for the quarter. They lost $35 million mainly from R&D for the year and they have $35 million cash on hand. Lets not pump this too hard for people on this board. Its got a great and important story. But everything is still in testing.

Well with the salary cap much higher they should be able to find more LBs. But yes, slapping a new defense together is not an easy task. Hopefully they don’t switch back to a 3-4 system.

That is a lot of improvement I’m seeing. They still need a LT and a wide receiver in the draft which should be pretty easy since there are 15-20 top WRs available. Their D should be instantly better by getting Garrett back. I haven’t followed what else is happening on defense except they keep cutting linebackers. So at least a top 10 offense and perhaps a middling defense. The coaching will be better obviously. Things are pointing up unless they completely screw up the draft.
  25. I agree. Convenient or cheap is not a problem. Convenient and cheap is not good.
