I wish they would take the route of mixing a hotel and condos within the same building (top floors condos/lower hotel). I was reading an article about Detroit's downtown and there are projects like that there. Who knows, maybe DG has something in the works sooner than later here in Cleveland.

I never have been able to wrap my head around why a cloverleaf wasn't built there instead of that mess...

Would there be enough land o the Opportunity Corridor? If there was, would highway/street access be able to handle game day traffic?

I like soccer...especially when they play on ice, wearing skates and using a stick and puck...

I guess I am not really up to date with the terms out there, but does affordable housing mean CMHA, sec 8, rate based on income, or just plain cheaper than market rate?

The pedestrian bridge doesn't look as if it has a lot of clearance. Maybe it's just the angle, but I wonder what the height is?

I would think the nuCLEus site would be another possibility. (or the area North of the SHW parking garage, or the parking lot across from Mallorca) Also, shall we begin to speculate the height of a new tower (with and without a merger)?

Does anyone think there would be a chance, if built new, it could go right next to new SW headquarters? I remember there was talk of a second tower, maybe this could be it. If this were the case, would SW have any say so at all as to the design since they seem to be so protective of personal space.

I have a question and it may seem dumb. Will this project be built over the "hole" where the infamous "LeBron" wall was?

Has there been progress with the parking deck and the "shack" as people like to call it?

I get that the bedrock is deep below the surface in Cleveland, but even with that obstacle, would it be possible to tunnel underneath instead of a bridge? Any idea of the cost in comparison?

^ Agreed. I thought it was a waste of money from the start. If the area North of the stadium is developed, it would seem that the bridge would have made more sense at the mouth of the harbor... shorter, direct and would have been way less cost. I am in favor of many projects, this just wasn't one of them.

Maybe Cleveland could go with a ukulele hotel, it may skirt FAA rules. Remember, Cleveland is a Plum! ;)

It would be skinny, but I would take a Steinway tower (NYC) in our skyline!

The above statement was in reference to the project being "underwhelming"...no reason to be confused...Oxford "got it"!

Is it too late to just scrap the project? 🙄
