  1. Took this yesterday through a hole in the fence cover after leaving Bookhouse.
  2. Paging Dan Gilbert (perhaps the closest we have to a modern-day Rockefeller). This building simply has too much history/significance to loose, plus a strategic location. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/cleveland-metro/5-people-break-into-rockefeller-building
  3. The view from today during Cleveland Reggae Fest
  4. An update on the Misencik Funeral Home redevelopment in Birdtown...
  5. @Ethan - Seems like an autocorrect, but perhaps you meant "soccer lining" rather than "silver lining" 😉
  6. Some pretty solid progress with redeveloping the former Misencik Funeral Home in Birdtown (across the street from the new Birdietown Golf & Lounge). Slated to become a Korean restaurant and market.
  7. Been taking my kids to CMC for a few years now. It's truly a unique and beloved community asset. Outdoor space currently has an obstacle course and a few seasonal toys. Would love to see trees and increased activation here.
  8. Signage going up yesterday at Birdietown, slated to open soon in the old BiRite grocery building on Madison Avenue. Between this, the Korean restaurant & market across the street, and the renewed construction at Birdtown Brewery nearby, Birdtown is arguably the hottest neighborhood in Lakewood.
  9. Plenty of recent progress with redeveloping the former Misencik Funeral Home (12500 Madison Ave) in the Birdtown neighborhood, slated to become a Korean restaurant and market.
  10. View from my grandma's assisted living bedroom shows off a metropolis side of Cleveland: University Circle cranes with Downtown in the background.
  11. Steel is now rising as part of the redevelopment of the former Misencik Funeral Home (12500 Madison Ave) in Lakewood’s Birdtown neighborhood. I believe it's slated to become a Korean restaurant and market.
  12. From Canal Basin Park last weekend
  13. Thought you guys might appreciate this slideshow I made...
  14. The scaffolding is off on the commercial storefronts encompassing Scalish's adaptive reuse project for the former Trinity Lutheran Church site on Detroit. Last I heard these storefronts will contain a Cleveland Bagel Co location, among other tenants.
  15. Giving the parade's big city vibes a more Superior feel.
  16. Skyline views make nice days even nicer
  17. It's gonna be a spring of beautiful city views
  18. I believe you are correct, @Rustbelter
  19. Work is underway in earnest on redeveloping the former Misencik Funeral Home (12500 Madison Ave) in Lakewood’s Birdtown neighborhood. Last I heard this is to become a Korean restaurant and market.
