  1. Riding the Red Line to Tower City
  2. Update on the Chase Bank being constructed at the corner of Detroit and St. Charles in Downtown Lakewood. Sucks this can't have 5-10 stories of residential above it, but at least it should have a solid street-level presence at this intersection.
  3. Today stuck in traffic on East 9th
  4. Cleveland.com article today... https://www.cleveland.com/realestate-news/2023/08/downtown-clevelands-next-new-apartment-is-going-up-next-to-erie-street-cemetery-near-gateway.html
  5. When your daughter's enjoying herself, yet is oblivious to the iconic structure rising behind her.
  6. I could get on board with this, though what our current aquarium lacks in size it makes up for in charm. It's perfect for families and a unique reuse of an historic building. If one more major attraction were added to the lakefront, I'd love to see it be a 'Superman Museum' to leverage one of the most iconic creations to come from Cleveland. I envision a large horizontal Superman statue outside this museum situated to have photos taken with lake and/or skyline as background.
  7. Checking in from the Superior Viaduct
  8. The Litt article is labeled 'subscriber exclusive' but I was still able to open and read in full, so maybe give it a try 🤷‍♂️
  9. CLE 227th bday party crane jump 🏗🎂
  10. Credit to @TowerLightsCLE Twitter account
  11. "This building is going to be a little different for us," Price explained. "We see people shifting into the smaller units and more affordable where they can spend less on the apartment and more out on the city." https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/cleveland-metro/downtown-cleveland-office-building-to-convert-into-predominantly-one-bedroom-apartments
  12. Shaking those Monday blues
  13. I can't speak to concerts, but I can say Bedrock has done a nice job with trying to activate the "indoor park" space with free family events. My family has gone to a few of these and they're fairly well-attended.
  14. Viking cruise ship docked at Port, aa viewed from Great Lakes Science Center. Look forward to the day when we can offer a more inviting entranceway to the city for cruise visitors 🤞
  15. View during last night's reggae show at Jacob's Pavilion
  16. A view of the (newish?) illumination through the lens at Lakewood Park during last night's Solstice Celebration
  17. Intended for the S-W thread, sorry!
  18. Juneteenth at Public Square
  19. From the Towpath in Tremont...
  20. Riding in on the Red Line...please excuse the photo quality...I blame both my phone and RTA's lack of Windex use
  21. Plenty of "spectators" for today's construction progress
  22. I'm a stay-at-home dad of two littles, and I try to take my kids downtown on the train every week or two to romp around Tower City and Public Square. I've actually been pleasantly surprised by the (perceived) growth in foot traffic this spring. Here's from our most recent visit last week (complete with S/W Tower view to keep somewhat on topic).
