Are there any old PCCs or Kuhlman 1200s laying around that we could use to replace the Bredas?

Non-Ohio Transit News & Discussion
A city’s immovable roadblock Nashville’s ambitious new bus line seemed to have a green light — until the GOP-led Legislature, with help from the Koch brothers, stepped in. By Michael Kranish GLOBE STAFF OCTOBER 10, 2015 NASHVILLE — Karl Dean, a Democrat in his second term as this city’s mayor, had a few minutes to tell President Obama about his dream: building a “trackless trolley” line that would connect Nashville’s gentrifying east side with its ritzy west. He had spent years submitting applications for a $75 million grant, and he made sure the president knew about it. Two months after that January 2014 meeting in Nashville, the dream seemed to be coming true. The White House announced that money for Dean’s project was in the president’s budget. Unbeknownst to Dean, however, an extraordinary coalition was at work behind the scenes to take away the money before the check could be written. The local leader of a group created by the conservative Koch brothers helped write a bill that was introduced in the Tennessee Legislature by a sympathetic Republican lawmaker and that was designed to kill the project. “I’m not used to having the state come in and try to crush us,” Dean said in an interview last month, on his last full day in office. https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nation/2015/10/10/nashville-mayor-wanted-bring-two-parts-his-city-together-then-was-crushed-state-legislators/QT91unb8xk4xPBqkTumgMP/story.html https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nation/2015/10/10/nashville-mayor-wanted-bring-two-parts-his-city-together-then-was-crushed-state-legislators/QT91unb8xk4xPBqkTumgMP/story.html

^ It's a great irony isn't it? That our rail system was undoubtedly a piece of why we won the bid for the GOP convention, yet it's because of Republicans in Columbus that our rail system may cease to exist in a few years...

^ I usually don't get upset by controversial neighborhoods names, but I agree, can we stop with the SoLo please?? It's amazing how much that stretch has changed even over the last year. I can't wait until the Lorain Ave streetscape/bike path project is done. Then we'll see a huge transformation there

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
One of the few times that I actually have ventured out to Lakewood, I tried using the West Side Shuffle, but they didn't come at the scheduled time and never responded to any of my tweets about their location. So, I instead was luckily able to take the #26 back downtown, which fortunately runs 24/7.

^ He's not even that good of an administrator. He did a good job with brining in the right people to take care of the city's fincances, but outside of that, he hasn't done a great job. I obviously know the mayor doesn't have complete control over crime in the city. But I'd just at least be happy to see him communicate with the community about the problem and steps the administration has been taking to help rectify it. Communication is always key and Frank does a terrible job with that.

Obviously not rationalizing, but as long as you aren't out and about in the wee hours of the morning, you are safe. I don't want to live in a place in which I have to bunker down and not go outside after a certain time.

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
"A felonious assault was reported at approximately 2:40 a.m. today at E24th Street and Chester Avenue. Approximately 20 shots were fired from a vehicle at the Langston Apartments. The vehicle is described as a light colored, possibly white or silver, newer model Chevy Malibu. The vehicle then entered the highway heading westbound on interstate 90. The bullets struck the side of the building and windows. No injuries are reported at this time. It is unknown how many suspects were in the vehicle. Cleveland State University Police and Cleveland Police are on scene investigating. No further information is available." Cleveland Browns Discussion
I've been boycotting the Browns all season, and my Sundays have drastically improved because of it. Within that time span, my feelings towards the Browns have become quite negative overall. Not just because they suck, but also because they have been the most dysfunctional organization from top to bottom in the last 16 years that I've ever seen. After the Indians game was over today, I have to admit, I watched the end of the Browns game. I actually found myself rooting against them. And when they lost, I just laughed. It seems weird to me to root against a Cleveland team, being such a hard core Cleveland fan and advocate, but you know what? It seems like the best way to deal with this absolutely pathetic franchise. I'm not going to pick another NFL team to root for, and deep down I'm always a Browns fan, but until they have at least a >.500 season, I'm completely done. Go Cavs.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
^ Why would the Indians want to leave with the sweet deal they have with their ballpark? I know it's 20+ years old now, but they're still sitting in a pretty good spot with all the public financing. Also, despite people's negative feelings about the Dolans, they're the last of or major team owners that are actually Clevelanders, so I'd find it really hard to believe that they'd be looking to relocate the team. Also, why would they be putting tens of millions of dollars into the ballpark if they were going to be leaving town in the immediate future?

I don't think anyone is saying that. There are few establishments that scream overpriced, tacky, chain, tourist trap more than Margaritaville.

South Park -- SODOSOPA
Usually that message comes out via one of Kyle's speeches at the end, of which the boys have been berating him about over the last few episodes. So perhaps the lack of a clearly articulated message or lesson was intentional

What does the article say? If it talked about that at all I missed it. It's not mentioned in the story. I assume it was because of a lack of tenants and not enough business?
