Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
It's a shame that they gave it the mid-century ugly façade treatment. It used to be a handsome building.

Cleveland Parking Discussion
On-street parking is also banned on all streets around Gateway when there is an event at the Q or Progressive Field. I just roughly drew this up from memory, but these are approximately all the streets that don't allow street parking during such events. I may be missing a few.

Cleveland Parking Discussion
That is their official excuse, which isn't a good one, imho. Those people that are more cynical believe that since parking lot owners making significant contributions to city council campaigns, council people push for on-street parking bans during special events and weekends, thus pushing everyone into parking lots.

Cleveland: Historic Preservation
I think you might be right, at least the northern portion of the building. I attached an aerial from 1963 and you can see a building that matches the profile of 1404 E 9th. If you go down Theresa Ct., you can see the northern and western facades are made of brick, similar to the building seen below. But at some point, it looks like the insert in the middle of the building was filled in.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
There's a sidewalk up to East 9th. I've done the walk before. Getting from the Amtrak station to East 9th is a pretty bad walk.

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
Someone posted this map they made to Reddit a few years ago. There are some obvious problems with it, but I think it gives you a better sense of neighborhood boundaries than the SPAs do.

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
I think the only "official" neighborhood definitions are the statistical planning areas. But obviously, there are neighborhoods within the SPAs, e.g. Larchmere is in the Buckeye-Shaker SPA. And then there are places like "West Park" which span a few different SPAs. I don't think there's really a clean cut answer

CSU isn't involved with it. It would be a private development likely just marketed to students.

The University Circle Happy Dog at the Euc is closing next month Cleveland's legendary Euclid Tavern to close as Happy Dog ends run at club By John Petkovic, The Plain Dealer | Posted October 26, 2018 at 08:33 AM | Updated October 26, 2018 at 08:49 AM CLEVELAND, Ohio -- It was the place where a young Green Day played for a $100. Where Joan Jett and Michael J. Fox performed together for the 1987 film, “Light of Day.” Where Mr. Stress and Chrissie Hynde and Peter Laughner jammed. Where poets read and activists argued. Where foodies designed their own hot dogs and barflies guzzled beer by the pitcher. The Euclid Tavern has been many things to many people. After all, a lot of things have happened between these walls since 1909. What will happen here after Nov. 16 is anyone's guess. The legendary club and one of Cleveland’s oldest bars is closing. “That’s going to be our last show,” says Happy Dog co-owner Sean Watterson. “We gave this a shot and had some great successes, but life was hard – and as we approached the date to renew our lease we made the decision not to.” https://www.cleveland.com/expo/life-and-culture/erry-2018/10/a614d2b4e28661/clevelands-legendary-euclid-ta.html

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
There's nothing that's going to be built there. Just re-orienting the parking lot, and perhaps adding an outdoor patio area, if I remember correctly. I tried to find rednerings of the building and the layout of the site plan, but unfortunately, images were never posted to the online agenda when it went before Landmarks.
