To go along with that topic, when does the sin tax expire?

Cleveland Browns Discussion
In addition to the Stadium naming rights, Banner and Haslam had some other insights: -No cheerleaders -Uniform change possible, but no sooner than 2014 due to NFL rules -Not touching the helmets (yay!) -Player personel guy most likely to have GM title

The Ever changing face of South Norwalk,Connecticut
Again, great pictures. These are making me miss the Northeast--can't wait to go back in the fall. I randomly stumbled upon SoNo back in September and was pretty impressed by it. I have only been there at night, so it's nice to see some daytime pictures.

I think 'Field' would sound better with the alliteration, just like "Progressive Park" would have sounded better than "Progressive Field." But, it's always been called a 'stadium,' so I think it should be kept that way. And Jacobs Field was a 'Field,' so I'm also glad they kept that.

That Starbucks is still there. The map is referring to the one that is part of the CWRU Barnes and Noble store.

Cleveland: Historic Photos
Obviously I wasn't alive to see any these parts of Cleveland in person, but from what I've seen in pictures, I'd say that the loss of the E 105th-Euclid business district (in addition to the Euclid Ave mansions) is one of the city's biggest tragedies, from a building/development perspective.

Bronx River Trail Walk - Bronxville - Tuckahoe - Crestwood-Eastchester-Scarsdale
Another great set. The towns along the Harlem Line are my favorite suburbs in NY, particularly Scarsdale. I love each of their town centers and the neighborhoods are great too. And the Bronx River Parkway is one of my favorite roads to drive on.

The Bronx most people never visit : Riverdale , Fieldston , & Spuyten Duyvil
Sure, City Island is technically in the Bronx, but I don't know maybe people who would consider it part of the "Bronx." It's such a separate entity.

It is negative. However, as told to me by Thing 2, a Bronx native, "(In the Bronx) anything West of Broadway is nice, the rest of the Bronx is environmental waste filled with sub standard human housing." From my experience, I'd say that's pretty much accurate, albeit a bit extreme haha

Great pictures, thank you. My perception of the Bronx had always been negative, but having explored it a bit, I've found that there are a lot of nice areas in the borough. I especially love your pictures of the Henry Hudson Bridge

NYC
Ah yes, that's it! That's too bad it's closed, would have been awesome to go up there. I wanted to go inside the church but unfortunately there was a wedding going on at the time.

No kidding?!?! That makes you a bit of a rock star in the rail transit world! Haha. Through my paternal grandmother, so unfortunately the Kuhlman last name didn't get passed on to me.

NYC
I made a couple trips to Manhattan during my time in NY and CT this fall. The first set is from September and the second is from an evening in October, just 3 or 4 days before Sandy hit. September Started out in Brooklyn at the NY Transit Museum. This place was pretty cool. For those that haven't been, it's housed in an out of service subway station. Brooklyn Borough Hall (old City Hall) On to Manhattan... I had long been fascinated by the old City Hall Station of the NY Subway. It closed decades ago and is rarely shown to public. My friend and I wanted to check it out, so we got on the 6 train downtown and stayed on the train after its final stop (Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall). The train looped back around and passed through the old City Hall Station. It was dark, so the pictures didn't turn out well, but it was still neat to see. Battery Park Great way to get some cool views--take the Staten Island Ferry across the harbor and back The Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History I love the grittiness of the NY Subway Couldn't come to NYC without getting this shot The largest cathedral in the US-- St. John the Divine (a.k.a. St. John's the Unfinished). Unfortunately it was closed for the day so I couldn't get inside. Quite a mix of architectural styles. Columbia I forget the name of this church. Grant's Tomb Randomly stumbled upon the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy. Think the Feast in LI Cleveland, except x 20. Back in Brooklyn. Some new street scaping on some street downtown. First ever trip to Citi. I was amazed to see that Citi Field is surrounded by nothing but parking lots and junkyards. Apparently Bloomberg has been making a push to clean this up and develop it, but the area lacks any kind of sewer or plumbing infrastructure. Too much going on in the outfield with the two huge scoreboards. October St. Patrick's Cathedral I hate Times Square, but for some reason I'm always drawn here. The grand opening of the new Windows Store. How do you know you're in a tourist trap? When you see this: Plaque outside Federal Hall Nat'l Memorial GW The Brooklyn Bridge City Hall I had to check out the High Line Park. This was pretty awesome. I definitely recommend checking it out if in NYC. And to end, some shots of downtown Scarsdale. I love all of the NY suburbs along the Metro North Harlem Line, but I think Scarsdale is my favorite.

Very cool, too bad they're in such bad shape. G.C. Kuhlman is my great great grandfather, so I've always had a particular interest in these cars.

Agree 100% with all of that. PLUS, let's not forget he's an Ohioan and grew up a Browns fan. Does that make him a better coach? Not necessarily, but it's a plus.

Downtown Detroit Phototour: Last weekend of 2012 in the D!
Nice pictures, thank you. I like how they have an ice rink downtown and their Christmas tree is pretty sweet. I need to get back up to Detroit again, always have a good time there.
