  2. It's been a while since there has been an Orange Barrel update. I could see they have been working on the inside, but it still looks like there is a lot of work left to do before their October 2014 deadline.

So this is a screenshot but I figured this was the best place for it. Like any normal person I usually use Google Maps, but I wanted to use Bing to look the Bird's Eye View of the building the Dispatch is moving to. Well before I even zoomed in far enough I noticed not one, but two buildings misnamed on the map. I'm sure I don't need to point out what's wrong here. Get It Together Bing by Brandon Bartoszek, on Flickr Also, the neighborhood name is wrong too.

  5. So only 14 months into the project the Trautman Building looks to be ready for steel.
  6. Yeah, but I never expected much for a storage building. Hopefully the lots on each side of it will be developed and the storage building will become one of those buildings you just don't really notice when you pass. I'm also glad one more surface parking lot disappears.
  7. The first picture here shows the site of this small condo development on 6th. Recently the pavement there was removed so hopefully we are seeing the start of construction. The pictures after that show that interesting side condo that crosses the alley in the second phase of Bishops Walk. The last pictures are of the new storage building.
  8. Truberry on Summit has been moving slowly it seems, but now they are finally working on the facade.
  9. New Jeffery Park CoGo station.
  10. Some shots I took of Jeffery Park this past weekend. The first two photos show units that are occupied. The last shot shows a unit that looks occupied, but the building does not look to be completed yet. Besides the stuff on the patio it was the only unit in that building with the shades down. Not only that it looked like their were lights on inside, but that doesn't show up in the photo.

Washington County as in Ohio? Where was this taken from? It's incredible, and I want to go to that spot. Sorry, I should have said. It is Washington County, Maryland. Taken from a rest area along I-70.
  14. Wheeling is the seat of Ohio County. In 2010 it had a population of 28,486. In 1930 its population peaked at 61,659. Despite losing so many people it has held on to many of its historic structures. 15. And now it is vacant again. I just noticed that GetGo was closed when I walked by today. It's been vacant for maybe 2 months now. Same with the one on Lane Avenue that had opened about the same time. I'd like to see both redeveloped into something more substantial.
  16. A couple more from the parking lot north of it.

  19. So I guess the first new units are completed at Jeffery Park. I drive Uber and I picked up someone from a new unit tonight. He said he moved in about 2 weeks ago.
  20. At the existing South Campus Gateway they are working hard to prepare World of Beer for its Spring 2015 opening.
  21. Meanwhile on East 9th Avenue Edwards is making quick work of an old apartment building. These are from yesterday, today the whole place is probably gone.
