Ball, staff reporter - Columbus Business First Updated: Mar 4, 2015, 3:16pm EST Developer Dan Schmidt has pulled the trigger on purchasing the former Church of the Nazarene at 142-176 King Avenue south of the Ohio State University campus. Schmidt's CitySpace affiliate paid $2.15 million to the South Central Ohio District Church of the Nazarene Advisory Board through its 160 King LLC real estate affiliate for the 1.5-acre site between Neil Avenue and North High Street. The $10 million, 50-unit student housing complex will have a combined 150 beds. Construction should begin in the spring. "We are planning to commence construction in the next several weeks and anticipate the project being completed in the summer of 2016," Brian Wilmers, managing director of Schmidt's JDS Cos. umbrella organization, said in an email. Brandon, I just saw that a shot of yours very similar to this one is being used by the Yahoo! Weather app. Thanks for letting me know. I actually have several pictures in the Yahoo Weather group, which is where the app gets its pictures.

Ridesourcing
I've been driving Uber for about 3 weeks and have completed about 200 rides. So far it seems pretty good. There is one thing that is really annoying, but it is no one's fault. I often end up getting ride requests when I'm getting on the freeway. I had one that the Uber app said was 3 minutes away, but I was getting on the freeway and the next ramp was 2.5 miles away so by the time I turned around I added 5 miles to my trip just to get to the pickup.

Circleville - April 2014
Yeah, I found a webpage about the house. Apparently the developer of the Walmart donated the land to move the house to, but the people who moved it still had to come up with the money for the move and a new foundation. Too bad after 11 years the house hasn't been restored.

Thanks for posting that. I was thinking of that old Conan clip the whole time I was at the game. Too bad that clip doesn't include Conan trying to pickup the players wives. Who doesn't like muffins? They have a website too https://www.ohiohistory.org/visit/ohio-village/ohio-village-muffins
