  1. Mayor: Scrap the office tower and do condos at the Banks (http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2015/08/25/mayor-scrap-the-office-tower-and-do-condos-at-the.html) Two things immediately come time mind because this Mayor has made me extremely cynical: [*]The Mayor has a condo developer friend who would like the site [*]The Mayor wants to grease the skids for his pal John Barrett and the new W&S tower, eliminating competition
  2. No recent updates. The latest being this Biz Courier article from a year ago: http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/blog/2014/08/cincinnati-s-largest-law-firm-hunting-for-new.html As it states, their lease isn't up until 2018 so they have some time to decide. Obviously GE took Banks Phase II office space, but Phase III is a possibility as is a potential new W&S tower.
  3. I'm not sure I would assume so quickly that they would want to put apartments above a bar/restaurant. They're doing office space above the Japp's/Drinkery buildings, and likely doing low-key commercial (ie, non-bar/restaurant) in the 1200 and 1208 Main St. buildings where they're putting the apartments. I think the best bet, if Maude's doesn't stay, is that we would see more office above Cincy by the Slice.
  4. Urban Sites bought 1207 Main St, the Cincy by the Slice / Maude's building. They nearly own everything on that block that Hanke or Mixx doesn't own.
  5. Anchor Corryville Grocery LLC bought 1 Corry for $1M. Anchor Corryville Pharmacy LLC bought property on Jefferson for $2.5M
  6. North South Properties, LLC purchased a ton of properties from Bleh Real Estate Holdings LLC for a combined $2.4M. The properties are: 12 Court 915 Vine 44 Court 50 Court 54 Court 1003 Walnut 31 Court
  7. I believe those are 1428-1434 Vine St which are owned by 3CDC.
  8. $1,000 per day for each day the 1st vehicle is past it's due date. $500 per day for each subsequent vehicle arriving after scheduled. It didn't sound like the city would be going after CAF under those terms, but if the city were to realize any losses because of the delay (for instance, the consultant having to work longer hours) then they would try to recoup that from CAF.
  9. The petition to the planning commission states the lot would be to help with their residential developments.
  10. The Model Group wants to buy 518-520 E. 12th from the city to turn it into a parking lot. The property is currently a pocket park. This is going before the planning commission at their August 7 meeting.
  11. I saw it slightly differently when I reviewed it frame-by-frame. I see Tensing reach into the car and Dubose, reacting to that, either put his foot on the gas or simply took his foot off the brake, moving the car forward slowly, which is when Tensing instantly reached for his gun and shot him. From there, a dead Dubose had his limp foot on the gas pedal and the car drove drown the street and slammed into the corner. You can tell by the video with the engine revving in a stopped car the Dubose's foot was on the gas pedal while slumped over the steering wheel.
  12. No idea where to put this but.... a one Vladimir Putin just closed on 909 State Ave.
  13. 111 E 12th St was just purchased by Wine House OTR LLC. The address of the LLC is for a house belonging to Anthony and Jodi Maieron.
  14. Technically an LLC incorporated in Ohio but based in Brentwood, Tennessee.....?
  15. UC has already raised $20M in private funds for their on campus rehab of 5/3. I can't see them walking away from that to partner with US Bank or somebody else to build an off-campus arena. That ship has sailed in my opinion. They'll ask for and likely receive city/county financing. All the big wigs are upset about losing the RNC mostly because of US Bank.
  16. Up for CRA abatements in City Council next week: 1833 Vine St to be rehabbed by Hagen Properties into commercial on the first floor and 7 market rate apartments. Apparently they plan to only spend $106,000 on the rehab... This is the former OTR Adopt property at the corner of Vine/Findlay. Not OTR, but Pendleton: Cutter Historic Apartments, LLC will rehab 506 and 510 E. 12th Street, 511 and 513-515 E. 13th Street, and 1316 Broadway into approximately 32 units of subsidized, income-restricted housing at a total cost of approximately $5,103,348. 100 Findlay LLC (P&G employee Brent Borden) will renovate 100 Findlay Street into one commercial space and five market rate apartments at a total cost of $480,000. Urban Sites will renovate 527 E. 13th Street into seven market rate apartments. The total project cost to renovate the 4,764 square foot building is $406,000. Under the PDA 3CDC has recommended South of Lake Erie, LLC to develop 1722 Elm Street. The approximately 2,000 square foot building rehabilitation will result in one single family townhome and one rentable commercial space. The Developer intends to reside in the townhome and commits to renovating the property at a cost of approximately $303,500.
  17. That is the only property that that particular LLC owns. Greiwe never mentioned any specifics in the story the Biz Courier did (http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2015/02/04/exclusive-streetcar-prompts-upscale-condo.html).
  18. The parking lot at 830 Main St. just sold to MAIN STREET LAND LLC (incorporated in June 2015) for $1.1M. Would be nice for some infill on this lot but I'm not holding my breath.
  19. Pretty sure they will separate it into three parcels and sell them separately. Who buys them and what they do with them is unknown at this point of course.
  20. 3CDC is planning on demolishing the non-contributing portion of 1417 Elm St (old City Gospel Mission) in order to create three separate lots to sell for new construction. There is no plan yet for the historic church that will remain at that site.
  21. This is part of what the article states:
  22. Urban Sites’ new project: upper-floor office space in OTR http://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/print-edition/2015/07/24/urban-sites-new-project-upper-floor-office-space.html?ana=e_ph_prem&u=uvswnydLrHqB9inIF1yDdw0ccf9403&t=1437743686
  23. Titan Capital LLC (owned by Jamal Daoud) just closed on 1745, 1749, 1751, 1753, and 1755 Sycamore. They are all vacant lots. He helped develop the homes at Pendleton and Spring streets.
  24. Talbert Services just closed on 1713, 1721, 1723, 1725, 1731, 1733 Sycamore
  25. Urban Sites just closed on 1134, 1142, 1148 Main St. I'm pretty sure those are the Japp's, Japp's Annex and Drinkery buildings.
