Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Interesting nugget there, not sure what that can mean as relating to the Cavs, but would be interested in a timely Bedrock bomb.

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
Cuyahoga estimated to have grown in population, which the estimates are never favorable until the decennial census, good news. I’m sure the immigration restrictions will change Ohios fortunes for the worse regarding population in the near future.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
There’s a huge lack of familiarity with the train system in Cleveland. On numerous occasions, I have directed people to take the train to the airport (which they did not know was an option previously) and were thrilled to have done so. I don’t think safety was an issue for them.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Maybe SW is announcing a purchase of PPG. Reddit rumors in q4 from workers within the company are expecting a sale. But who knows could be completely baseless.

In the minority it seems, but I really like these townhomes.

Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs
@AsDustinFoxWouldSay Honestly you have the most doom and gloom takes time after time, and your post provides zero substance reflecting the actual landscape of our downtown/city versus others. It remains the largest cbd in Ohio. In comparison, my hometown of Pittsburgh has a downtown that’s in bad shape and with a BNY Mellon building that’s nearly empty. So much so the governor is stepping in to provide stimulus there. And these comments come on the heels of complete conjecture espoused from an excitable CEO. I very much appreciate KJPs reporting but there is nothing to suggest that Gonclaves is seriously thinking of moving the company. Cleveland has been on a tremendous roll with acquisitions and bringing companies here since before the pandemic. Parker Hannifin, Park Ohio, Cliffs, Sherwin Williams, list goes on and on. The data supports that downtown CLE has had one of the best pandemic recoveries so let’s please make an earnest effort to be factual.

Cleveland: Cleveland-Cliffs
They just signed a 10 year lease at 200 Public Square. This is all posturing. They moved all the AK steel employees here if memory serves correctly. US steel lost its brand appeal decades ago. While its uneasy to hear him say this, I can’t imagine him uprooting 1000s of employees in CLE.

Gonclaves can be bombastic, I would imagine this is to endear himself to US steel employees. I would be shocked if he moved there.

Cleveland: Population Trends
Outstanding population growth in Ohio (historically speaking) 60k gain pushes the state ever closer to 12 million.

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
So q1 QCEW 2024 data has Cuyahoga County median wage at 79k+ per year. That is an 18k increase from 2019. 2k per month is only 30% of 79k which is within a reasonable percentage. Q2 was released recently but I’m not referencing those because it includes summer job hiring which drops the median wage significantly, whereas q1 is more representative of annual wage. This also puts Cuyahoga right behind Hamilton for highest in the state.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
We know about East stokes tall apt building in the circle. We clamor for more, of the downtown skyline changing variety.

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
With all the momentum on Scranton Pennisula, I wish they could have put the stadium there. Under the river rail connection ( a la Pittsburgh). Pipe dream I know. But I think the skyline around tower city is gonna look a little different in the next 5-10 years and the views would have been incredible.

Maybe didn’t read between the lines or notice in the pictures but I couldn’t see any phase 2 plans in the renderings?
