Cincinnati: Eastern Bypass
That is such a ridiculous project. The only sort of bypass I would be for is if I-471 became I-71 and was extended to the I-75/71 split. Even then, I would have trouble supporting it unless it meant no new bridge.

Cincinnati hopes to lure Amazon's new world headquarters http://www.wlwt.com/article/cincinnati-hopes-to-lure-amazons-new-world-headquarters/12279373 The biggest take away from that article is that we get confirmation that Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are working together on a bid.

Ohio Designated Outdoor Refreshment Areas (DORA / Open Container)
Why wouldn't they want to touch it? From the beginning it seemed like a no brainer to be passed. I don't understand why it has stalled for so long.

Cincinnati: Western Hills Viaduct
Once again people were getting riled up on Facebook because of the deteriorating concrete. WLWT must have noticed and did a piece on it, once again letting everyone know that it's safe. They also mentioned that a new viaduct is still 10 years away and the detailed design phase will start next month.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
Price Hill just needs someone with money to jumpstart investment. They're lacking something like 3CDC. Sure, there is Price Hill Will, but they don't have near the reach of 3CDC. Nearly everything that has been put in has been a major success though. On a Friday or Saturday evening, you'll be lucky to find a parking spot because of the Incline Theatre and Incline Public House. Veracruz Mexican Grill has been a hit as well. The wine bar and coffee shop both seem to do a good business. The ingredients are there, but nearly all of the activity is coming from people who do not live in Price Hill. There are a lot of empty lots east of Hawthorne Ave just begging to be redeveloped.

Related to that, how long do we think it will be before recreational marijuana is put on the ballot again?

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Music Hall
I just read on the Business Courier that buses will likely shuttle people from the garage to events. That's really funny and sad at the same time.

The Real Reason the Music industry is Suffering
I recently saw a video where these people played a Nirvana song to a girl who had a Nirvana shirt on, but she had no idea what band it was. Pretty funny.

The Real Reason the Music industry is Suffering
The Beach Boys > Beatles. Their albums after Pet Sounds up to Holland are criminally underrated by the public as well. For that matter pretty much all of their music is underrated by the public.

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
Part of the project is supposed to involve reconfiguring the exits near the river. My question is, couldn't they make an exit that drops you off at the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge? Obviously include an on ramp as well. That way you could close the exits on the Covington side and it would help alleviate congestion on the Brent Spence Bridge as well. I haven't seen anyone here or elsewhere discuss that possibility, so maybe there's something I'm missing. Another less desirable option could be to drop people off on the Freeman Ave exit. It might help spur development in that part of the west end.

It's 2126 Ohio Ave. Pretty weird house for sure and you can even see some of the renovations as they're happening since many photos were taken.

Cincinnati: Western Hills Viaduct
Right, but as a voter who lives in OTR, I have been told for the past 10 years that the rest of the city shouldn't have to pay for "OTR's" new $145 million streetcar. So why should I pay for the "west side's" $310 million bridge? Because it would make you look just as bad as them.

What part is temporary? I thought the long on ramp was going to be permanent, unless I'm misunderstanding what BigDipper is saying.

Victory! I've never watched more than a few minutes of soccer, but I may have been hooked tonight. I wish I would have gone to the game. Such a great atmosphere and it really is a shame that Nippert can't be used as an MLS stadium.- Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
