Cleveland Browns Discussion
Maybe instead of useless QB comparisons, we should discuss how each team played against common opponents like Pittsburgh and Indianapolis?

Why not post your trash talk in the AFC North thread? Oh, yeah

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Well, no KJP, I didn't just repeat stuff without checking first. I heard it live, then read the Enquirer and Plain Dealer today. The live comment is clearly tongue-in-cheek while all the reports are he said it as a matter of fact. All the sites you posted in your 30 seconds are only opinion. I thought that was acceptable here. You should read and listen more closely. Sarcasm is lost on you, isn't it?

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
While I hate the Bengals, I heard Lewis' comment, and it was clearly tongue-in-cheek, not like either city is reporting it. While not good for bulletin board fodder, it was a funny, harmless, comment. Either way, I hope the Browns can build on it.

^Sorry, that's not much help. I'm turning right, I might not know if the cyclist was just behind me to the right. I couldn't treat him as if a car was right next to me, as that would be like turning right from the inside lane.

I was in this situation yesterday. Bike next to me in bike lane, at a green light. I was turning right, the bike was going straight. Who has the right of way? No accident be cause I slowed down, but could have been bad.

You should try reading the article. He was arrested for being violent. Yes, the employees were wrong not to sell to him, but he was wrong for refusing to leave. When police came, he was violent.

Northeast Ohio: Regionalism News & Discussion
Its ok if you don't want to answer my question. Are you saying that the suburbs survive at the expense of the city because most of the crime is within the city?

Northeast Ohio: Regionalism News & Discussion
No, this is your quote. I asked you why you thought the suburbs were surviving at the expense of the city.

Cleveland: Crime & Safety Discussion
There have been lots of questions surrounding a lapse in training. For instance, from 3 posts above: Just ask Chief Williams, who when asked why the cop drive up on the grass responded " I dont know why they did that"... That says a lot. Without hearing the actual response, I can't tell what he meant by that. Simply hearing the words, doesn't mean he thought it was wrong, just that he didn't know why they did that. Maybe they decided they needed to ride right up to the situation. What is the procedure?

Has anyone said there was a lapse in training?

If you don't know, why say it? Do you think talking on a loudspeaker to a suspect with a gun, is wise?

I think you mean Monica Seles. Those foreign tennis stars all look alike.

At a Rec Center with what appeared to be a real gun. The parents should have taught him that you don't leave their own property with a gun of any kind. That's where the parents should have been.

Then he would be wrong. The 1980 Reds finished in 3rd place at 83-79. The strike was in 1981.

I doubt Jack Lambert ever did a dance after sacking a quarterback! This is still one of my favorite sacks of Terry Bradshaw!

I don't mind hard hits and trash talking. Its just embarrassing when its inappropriate. As Paul Brown once said, act like you've been there before.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
What would Paul Brown have done, if one of his Browns or Bengals players had headbutted another player, or made a tackle and acted like an idiot in a game they were getting killed? I think that either player would have not played another down in that game. Not Marvin.

Cleveland: Downtown: Jack Cleveland Casino - Phase 2
Yes, Dan Gilbert has a lot of nerve, taking an empty neglected building in the heart of downtown and building a business. He should have left it empty. I'm sure there were people lining up with better plans for the Higbee Building. How dare he make money on his investment!
