Would these issues have shown up as property leins had this buyer done due diligence?

NFL: General News & Discussion
Has one of the changes been to tack on the 5 yards at the end of the play for defensive holding instead of 5 yards from the line of scrimmage? There seemed to be a lot of those Monday night.

Cincinnati: Restaurant News & Info
Bosco4789 replied to The_Cincinnati_Kid's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & EntertainmentDo you really think Jeff Ruby, a very successful businessman, is intimately involved in the personal handling of the barge he is going to replace? Do you think he personally untied the barge so it would float down the river and hit the bridge? I thought he was busy driving away all those customers.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Should this discussion be moved to the NFL thread?

NFL: General News & Discussion
Just asking, but how does a discussion of the potential suspension of a CLEVELAND BROWN; as it compares to another player in the league; not warrant inclusion in the Cleveland Browns thread? Is the Cleveland Browns thread only for positive dawg pound discussions?

Cleveland: Suburban Crime & Safety Discussion
Its a quote from a popular movie. You need to get out more. The word chief is also considered derogatory in some circles. I'm surprised you would use a racial slur. Francis is just a common name.

Lighten up Francis. It was just a joke at both yours and EVD's expense. At least he can recognize it as such. Then after chastising me, you poke fun at him! Oh, by the way, I'm not a chief.

Wow, you must live in an utopia! Sounds like everyone loves everybody else, there is no hate or bigotry and all criminals must come from Painesville!

Did you see that video, she looked like a rag doll? This has nothing to do with the Browns, but I think were comparing two different types of situations. JG should be suspended and he should be put into a rehab facility and get some counseling. I disagree. On one hand you have someone who should be jailed for assault which should not be tolerated at all by the league; and on the other you have someone who at the most should have been charged with a DUI, and what the league found in their testing is legal in a number of states in which they operate. He's done nothing that warrants rehab, unless you can rehab stupidity. From what I've heard, you can't fix it!

What are you watching?
Saul is getting his own show, which will be a prequel to Breaking Bad. Some of the characters may make cameos. Did an "orange is the new black" marathon as well. Its was ok.

Didn't someone ask you to stop insulting neighborhoods? Will you condemn an entire side of town for the actions of a few? Are there no bigots where you grew up? It's absolutely insane that it's 2014 and people are still flying confederate flags at all, let alone in the north. Anyone doing that can't be reasoned with and I don't want to live around them. You're right condemn the entire neighborhood. There are drug pushers where you live. What is worse?

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Any kind of attempt at a run will happen this coming weekend. To have any chance at all, they can do no worse than a split with Detroit. If they fall any more than 7.5 behind, they would be hard pressed to recover.

Bet he turns that lot into parking. Building more off-street surface parking in a popular, historic, walkable neighborhood is like the snake eating its tail. Why so negative, when he's been nothing but good for the neighborhood? Do you know something we don't? I've done some investigating, seems there are good and not so good opinions of the family. A lot done by the Deleva family in the neighborhood, from rehabbing, to demolishing eye-sores, to just seeing that the neighborhood is kept clean and the Italian traditions are maintained. The not so good is that it may be a little traditionally heavy-handed.

So if one of the shooters arrested was from Westwood, was he downtown buying drugs?

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
Well, I did have some DVDs stolen from my car in the suburbs, which is probably worse than a random bullet through your window! Other than that, I'm not going to try to compete with your personal experiences. I wish you well.

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
You're right, its just an opinion, but the kind of crime that is being discussed currently, is not like anything you would find in most suburban neighborhoods. I live in a suburb of Cleveland, and my kids are exposed to everything you mention as a benefit, which far outweigh any negatives being discussed here.

I know bad things can happen anywhere, but I cannot understand wanting to raise children in that environment. It seems so dangerous.

There's a home on 69th, just up from Caruso that says DELEVA on it.
