According to Wikipedia, the city of Zanesville has a density of 2,276.8, this number does not include the rural areas, but it also only contains half of the urban population. Yes, our city limits are messed up!

Columbus hosting the Olympics? Is it possible?
I think Columbus would make the perfect city to host the Olympics. They could host some events in neighboring cities if they have to or desire to, I think that has happend before. Columbus has the perfect location, being within driving distance to so many other large cities. I say, why not? Hey, that can be something you can work on after graduation!!

Random Ohio Sports Talk
Ohio basketball is now 2-0 with a blowout win today. They are expected to crack the top 25 this season, especially if we beat Cincinnati and Kentucky this year. The Ohio Women's Volleyball team beat Alabama in the first round of the NCAA's and play Ohio State in the second round tonight in St. Johns Arena!!!

Poll: Your political leanings
I would define myself as a moderate liberal. I most definitely attended the Kerry rally in Zanesville, and the Edwards rally in Athens!

Ironton / Lawrence County: Developments and News
That is quite ambitious. If they are able to pull this off, I say more power to them! It would be great for that part of Ohio.

Cleveland: A Christmas Story Museum
^ I was one of the billion Waldo's running around. It was still fun. Everytime I saw someone taking a picture, I would try to get sneak into the background somewhere. The year before I went as a ghostbuster!

Cleveland: A Christmas Story Museum
This is an amazing idea. For halloween I almost went as the kid in the movie who was standing in line to see Santa wearing the goggles, and just walk around saying "I like Santa," but I didn't think that anyone would get it.

Southeast Ohio: Road & Highway News
This road will not only bypass a major portion of Zanesville making travel much easier, but it will also open up Perry County, our neighbor to the south, to I-70, hopefully spurring some development and jobs for them.

Ashtabula covered bridge will be fourth-longest in the world
Sounds pretty cool to me! I have always liked the historic covered bridges of Ohio, I pass one every day on my way to Athens. I always think of the Winters River Bridge in Beatlejuice! And, the Y-Bridge used to be covered, way before my time however.

Updated: A discussion on GLBT issues in Ohio (3C's)
^I like the way you think  Those stats are interesting! I suppose the numbers for Columbus are high if you take into account the metro population. Cleveland has a lot more people in its metro, and Columbus isn't that far off from them.

Metro Columbus: Road & Highway News
I love this project, it is a great alternative to 70 for Zanesville residents. At least to get to the north end of Columbus! 161 comes out 1 exit north of Easton, so a lot of area residents use this way to get there. 161 and 16 will combine to make an expressway that will go from 270 to 77. Zanesville has 3 exits off of 16, so I don't think the project will hurt any with some people using it to bypass 70. I know I'm rambling, so I will stop!
