  1. ugh. I truly don't understand this choice.
  2. There are people who try to avoid going to Riverbend. PNC Pavilion is much better than the original one. The main pavilion is terrible. There are too many seats with obstructed views, and the pillars block some of the views. Getting out after a concert is a disaster. They also add $3.75 per ticket for parking. So if you are dropped off, you still are paying that charge.
  3. Blink-182 was actually advertised as one of the headliners for Friday night. They were headliners for Lollapalooza last year, so I didn't understand why they had the time slot that they did for Bunbury.
  4. 1800 Square feet is enough room for a family of four. That's what we have.
  5. ^ Frisch's is known adding their own flavoring to Coke, so I think that is why people are making such a big deal over the switch.

Several months ago my little guy pushed the call button in the elevator in our building. It happened quickly. Next thing I knew a phone was ringing, and a voice came through the speaker asking if there was an emergency on the elevator. I told them that everything was okay, and it was just my toddler playing around. I joked with people that he was testing to make sure the monitoring service the condo association pays for each month actually works. But I learned a pretty important lesson myself.

Maybe talk show host? Or politician?

I wonder if our little guy will become interested in baseball. There are two other units on our floor. Whenever we walk past them, he has to step on their doormats as if he's tagging them. It's pretty funny.

The little guy turns two next month! I can't believe how big he is. We think he's three feet tall already or at least pretty close to it. He loves running around. :)

Bugs me too. I think it's rude to the cashier, and it can also hold up the line for other shoppers.
  11. Did you try the upstairs of the Lager House? That wasn't it. I walked in the LH and decided things were a little inappropriate for 6 and 3 yr. Didn't wanna look like "that parent." Anywho, are you saying upstairs is an option in the future? We've dined there with our 1.5 year old, so I'm not sure what you mean by "that parent." They have a kid's menu, high chairs, and changing tables in the restrooms.
  12. I think I'll start looking for a baby-sitter now for this festival. :)

I remember TGIFridays, Applebee's, and Yucatan Liquor Stand. Yucatan Liquor Stand was a dance club. I thought one was sold as scrap metal, and then it sunk to the bottom of the Ohio River while in transit. I agree that people in general did not seem to notice that it was gone. I remember people telling me about how there was more to do in Northern Kentucky, and they cited Covington Landing as an example. People were stunned when I mentioned that it had sunk to the bottom of the river.
  14. I didn't realize that Metropolis was open that recently, but I haven't been on that side of the mall in a very long time. The only reason I even go there these days is for the Babies 'R Us store, but now there is one near Kenwood Mall. However, I sometimes go to the one at Cincinnati Mall because my brother works in Fairfield, so I can meet him for lunch. One day I had planned on meeting him at the Chipotle in the parking lot, so I went to BRU first. I was shocked to find out that so much of the mall had been shut down that it was nearly impossible to actually walk from the store to Chipotle. I had to cut through the Bass Pro Shop to get there.
  15. There is Lookout Joe in Mt. Lookout Square. I have never been to this location, but I have been to the one downtown. http://www.lookoutjoe.com/retail.php
