  1. Knowing how they oriented the 1819 building, I don't see them making any changes to the buildings orientation unfortunately.
  2. Finally saw somebody post the after photos today of this project.
  3. Oh yes sorry it was definitely going to be demolished. Just mentioning that there were some early discussions on what to do after the building was torn down.
  4. Before the pandemic there were discussions to place the Alumni Association on that corner and make it essentially the "gateway" into the campus.
  5. The Triple F, First Financial Field
  6. The college football bowl games have some of the craziest names. Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Duke's Mayo Bowl The Bad Boy Mowers Gaparilla Bowl
  7. Wow that looks really good. Excited for this part of the project to get completed.
  8. According to today's Board of Trustee's Meeting Minutes, they approved the renovation of Calhoun Hall but I have yet to see any more information on it.
  9. Yeah was driving down Red Bank the other day and thought to myself, "all of these new apartments and development with Medpace and still no sidewalks and disintegrating roads"
  10. Good for Norwood. Hope it comes to fruition.
  11. I was on campus yesterday to pick some things up from the office and didn't notice anything with the dorms. I think they halted every capital project except ones that already started.
  12. I think I read that some are going into the old business building, but I thought that was slated to start in Fall as well so who knows. Also this will replace the offices in Crosley Tower.
  13. I can see it now!
  14. Yeah clearly my comment backfired. I have no problems with the expansion, it just looks depressing as hell to see what it's taking over. Hell, my wife worked at UC Health for years, it's great to see them succeeding and expanding. I'll keep my opinions to myself from now on.
  15. So they still have to be approved for all of this correct? The demolition is almost complete, but now they need city approval to move forward?
  16. Yeah, this is only related to the College itself. But you have to think other areas will look to follow suit if this is the stance from the University.
  17. Yeah from the renderings, you can tell that not much is going to be put on that lot.
  18. Whoever it is, I'm hoping there's something in the contract for rennovations/upgrades but probably not likely.
  19. What's disappointing is the fact that the entire north side of the development no longer looks to be flush with MLK like the initial renderings.
  20. Northeast corner. You could say that these renderings would be "shot" from the outbound on-ramp of 71 at MLK
  21. Updated renderings of UC's Digital Futures building
  22. As somebody who grew up in Norwood, there are A LOT of things that need to be changed or fixed first before they make that big of a transition IMO
  23. I apologize for my terrible paint work but adobe creative is not on this computer.... Drove by the corner of Clifton and MLK and noticed that the new DAAP annex is going to be way further back than expected. The have built out the structure already it seems. Really hope that prime corner spot is not going to be all surface parking...
