  1. What ever happened to the sale of this?
  2. Let's get some opening day pics out there to help sway the voters since nothing goes on in Cincinnati 😂
  3. https://variety.com/2025/film/news/sundance-moving-cincinnati-festivalgoers-skeptical-1236286797/
  4. It will not. They are still using the armory, which recently received a facelift and new track.
  5. That would make the most sense with some of the "emerging themes" from the Campus Master Plan process they're working on. Create more opportunities for open space Better connect the two campuses
  6. I don't know anything on the specifics but I remember when they built the new Lindner College of Business they had to (or just chose?) incorporate the grass on top to help stay at a certain acreage of green space on campus. I don't know what that entails but found that interesting at the time.
  7. "If" they were to buy it, I could see it as a location for an Alumni Association and maybe a Hotel/Convention Center. Kind of similar to NC State.
  8. This will make a killing on the post-football and basketball game crowds
  9. https://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/planning/projects/active/proposed-zone-change-to-planned-development-pd-at-william-howard-taft-highland-and-mcmillian-in-mt-auburn/ Looks like they want to build a Chick-Fil-A in the big surface lot on the back side of the new Union on Taft apartments, across from Taco Bell and CP Cincy.
  10. Do we know what ever happened to the proposed development south of this between Taft and McMillan?
  11. Yeah I have no doubt that the main stage would be somewhere more iconic, but an arena would be used for some type of activation.
  12. Yeah I think hosting the NFL Draft would have more weight on something like this for fan fests, etc.
  13. Grand opening is estimated to be around Memorial Day timeframe. What's interesting to me is that this building will have some permanent C-Paw branding and signage on the outside which traditionally hasn't been allowed.
  14. They had an opportunity to build this on the Vine/Auburn/McMillan plot but chose to stay on campus. The convenience factor being close to other athletic facilities and academic buildings was a huge selling point to both admin and student athletes.
  15. Brick is starting to go on this. Maybe it's the poor rendering at night, but I thought the brick was going to be much darker.
  16. There's people a lot smarter than me that makes these decisions but I'm surprised there's not like a Crunch Fitness or something in one of these new retail developments. The rec center has a reputation of already being outgrown in size and the dorms gyms aren't anything special. That coupled with all of the workers in the area it would make a lot of sense.
  17. Yeah I would've hoped that the District is still top priority to be finished.
  18. That's great! Big piece of property with some interesting topography. I'll be curious to see how they manage it. That edge of CUF is certainly going through a rapid transformation.
  19. I don't think parking killed those places imo. Good Plates has been doing well without parking as well. Shake Shack will be an interesting case study because there is no dedicated parking and you'll have a lot of area folks (not in CUF) wanting to come and try it.
  20. A bummer but I understand the logic from the bank (I guess). Hopefully it's hidden in the back and/or the outdoor space is significant at least. edit: Also I don't know the process or justification for it, but they really need to add another crosswalk at the corner of McMillan and Market St by the Fairfield Inn.
  21. Surprised they're taking up this much space. I know someone mentioned a biergarten which will be great for the area, but hopefully they don't incorporate too much surface parking.
