  1. I do have to think between this, the rest of the district (deaconess) and whatever happens to the mega block (McMillan/vine/auburn), that we are starting to get a good number
  2. I commute daily down both of these to/from 71. It's been pretty backed up but you can get through it in a decent time.
  3. Normally I would agree and I do have the same feeling towards Uptown projects but the retail across the street near X's campus continues to sit mostly vacant. Glad it's getting a little bit of retail but demand probably isn't super high in this area imo.
  4. I believe part of this project was expanding the concourse on the north and east sides.
  5. Yeah that's fair. I know they sniffed around some property in Deer Park as well last year I believe.
  6. No, I'm definitely on board with it and do hope they build it here. But I'm saying if they keep getting this opposition and can't get this through, I hope they just go develop something somewhere else (I know they won't).
  7. I hope they take this type of project somewhere else.
  8. Yeah it seems to be a no-brainer imo
  9. Some people seem to think "committed to honor the agreement" means "we won't be changing the name on the stadium"
  10. Why does it need to be taller if it's the same number of rooms? A bigger skyline is cool and all but that doesn't drive any economic impact.
  11. Hopefully they can get started on the other side of Straight St soon because I really want this to succeed. Not a lot of sit down options in CUF these days.
  12. Not so fast! Closing everything except Milkman now. https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2025/01/08/amador-cuban-dukes-revolution-pesola-newport-levee.html
  13. I believe it was this: https://dam.assets.ohio.gov/image/upload/ofcc.ohio.gov/Portals/0/Documents/Opportunities/RFQ/RFQ-23170A-AE-DATE-EXTENDED.pdf
  14. Isn't there also a separate traffic calming study being done for MLK and the intersection at Jefferson/Vine?
  15. Some updates on the UC Campus Master Plan update process. September update here
  16. The one rendering also makes it look like there's a park/green space where the convention center is
  17. Can't help but chuckle at the "Save Hyde Park Square" title
  18. SMU has a nice one as well. Theirs is 7k capacity I believe.
  19. UC would definitely agree to that, but it "has" to be held off-campus because they wanted it to be tied to NIL money.
  20. Yeah I agree completely. They did not price this game well.
  21. I don't consider this very well when the game has been on sale for months. Although it was much worse last week.
  22. Nobody is buying tickets for this game (even though it's a top-25 matchup) because of the venue. Downright shame that this yearly game can't be alternated between two of the best home environments around.
