Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
The Bengals did have input on the proposal.

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
They did renovate Dayton's arena in the last 5 years. I don't think the First Four will leave Dayton, that fanbase loves their basketball and you're guaranteeing a sellout for those games regardless of opponent. You could also have the possibility of a bowl game as well.

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
So probably double-digit events which would be significant in a 65k+ venue. Some of those can be replicated in other states and wouldn't be taken away from Lucas Oil (OHSAA Football, Motorcross, etc)

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
I'd love to know (just curiosity) how many non-NFL events Lucas Oil hosts over any given winter.

All of those cities (with the exception of Buffalo and Cleveland) are much larger metropolitan areas. "Out by the airport" for LA is 11 miles from downtown. For Tampa it's 4 miles...

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
Probably cheaper to just renovate Paycor and just build a new arena, right?

Springdale: City Center Springdale
I have a feeling this is going to end up a lot like the Centre Pointe development off Union Centre.

Sorry if I missed this but do we know when Hilltop is clearing out of this site? Or have they already?

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
UC will be doing something similar when the new practice facility coming online. The current locker room will become just the "gameday locker room" and most of their time will be spent in the new facility. Have to think the Bengals will do the same.

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
My guess is they think they need to provide a larger footprint for the Bengals practice facility + two practice fields.

When UC added the new West Pavilion structure to Nippert in 2015, we built in to the suite/premium agreements that part of the money goes back to help pay the project. There needs to be thinking along those lines for this project.

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
Did a case study in college 12+ years ago around this and how the west side of the Stadium faces one of the busiest stretches of interstate in the region and there was no visible advertisements. Overall this plan is fine. I was hoping that for the $1.2b price, it would be more gameday enhancements for the average fan instead of just a few premium spaces. It seems like a majority of the cost is going towards things outside of the stadium (and mostly for the team). Will be interesting to see where it goes from here and how much it evolves during the negotiations.

People around campus seem to go to Skyline late at night. Maybe that's part of it too.

Yup I mentioned something about it in the restaurant thread. Should be quite a popular spot. The old St Clair is being taken over by the owners of Alive & Well but not sure on timeline.

So the old multi-color corp building is now coming completely down? And the townhomes south of Robertson look to be something new as well.

And there's 3 more major areas in development that will only amplify pedestrian traffic IMO: UC dorm block across from Crossroads, The District, and the mega block of Vine/McMillan/Auburn.

A review from a friend was so so. I guess they also don't serve dessert (most of thunderdome doesn't serve it apparently) and that's been a big complaint with folks eating there.
