  1. Yeah I'd venture to guess the new owner will make a more concerted effort towards UC students. Curious to see who it is.
  2. The view from the Cincy side looks much better from what we can see.

  4. Oh yeah I completely agree. In my reply I was referencing the concourse space and overall room to have premium areas, not so much total seats.
  5. Why even build this here if it's going to be too small?
  6. Oh yeah I completely agree. If they develop the CET lot to one of the previously mentioned options, you could even include a plaza type space to connect the areas
  7. Another example. I think it could be done. Use the extra space in dark grey for additional concourse room and it would be fine imo.
  8. If you got rid of Charles Street, something even slightly larger than Heritage Bank would fit pretty easy on this block with room south for development/parking with at least three easy entry/exit points to 75.
  9. Surprised it took this long to be honest. Not expecting anything exciting here.
  10. I'm going to be fascinated to see how this project is going to be completed knowing the indoor field will open next summer but another 12-16 months for the (fully integrated) performance center after that.
  11. I think the reality is do you want a new arena or not. If you do, it's going to go where FCC wants it because they're going to be the ones paying for it. Whether that's this piece of land or one north of liberty (can't see this happening imo). I don't see Hard Rock coughing up the money anytime soon if they're planning a hotel but maybe I'm wrong? Both options can be critical, just in different ways. I think this site is probably the most realistic site for an arena so it might just come down to if FCC wants it that bad. Or maybe if CET has final say then none of this matters and the multi-use happens after all. No reason you can't build on other lots just south of this (freestore, lot #22, etc). Can the Duke energy substation be moved? I have no idea how those things work but that would open up a significant lot.
  12. From what I've heard this building will be for the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
  13. My guess is 15 or so. Really happy to see that there will be some height showing up around campus with this and The Hub (@ The District) as well as the Superior Credit Union site and the block south of it (whenever that happens).
  14. Yeah that surprised me as well. Will be really nice to finally see something done on this plot of land.
  15. I may be way off base but I feel like if you're having space issues for employees, you would build on the empty lot instead of displacing other employees to build something bigger, no?
  16. Not too far west of this property is another area that might be seeing some change soon. There's a few houses at this bend that are being cleared out along with a bunch of already cleared lots. Looks to be owned by a "KLEEMAX MANAGEMENT LLC" or Kleemax Properties.
  17. Been wondering that as well. Part of it looks to be owned by a "STEWIE INVESTMENTS LLC"
  18. What do we think is a realistic timeline to see updated plans? End of calendar year?
  19. I thought about this as well. With more developments like Factory 52 and Montgomery Quarter, I could see this being the case.
  20. I'm just assuming based on only 1-2 buildings left standing.
  21. There was once discussion of this being a "gateway to campus" type setup with UC alumni association, not sure if that is still on the table or not. That entire southwest corner has a lot of opportunity from Law over to the old YMCA, especially the development at the district bringing a little more foot traffic over that way.
  22. Have to think that the Hollister court stuff is on hold until they snatch up the rest of the properties, right? There's probably only 1-2 left at this point. There's some mention of the credit union lot in the CUF thread. Student housing with credit union taking first floor.
  23. https://ofcc.ohio.gov/static/Portals/0/Documents/Opportunities/RFQ/RFQ-UCN-23147A-AE.pdf Looks like demolition of the old law building will be happening next year with some temporary assets added until they decide what's next.
  24. I do appreciate the way they're incorporating a new entrance into the stadium from this plaza and adding to their concourse.
