Wiley seems way more steep than that too…but I’m sure they know what grades they’re dealing with 🤷🏻♂️

Does the current WSM market lot ever get full? It’s empty like 75% of the time- Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Getting into the bureaucratic weeds here a bit, but; closing sidewalks or crosswalks requires an alternate route to be established per the OMUTCD (Which is what the City permit says to follow). And that makes it State Law, although I find it rarely if ever enforced unfortunately.- Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Ok…the Center Street swing bridge is looking to reopen Monday morning. I’ll be able to confirm with 100% certainty by Friday. 🙏🏻🤞🏼🌉- Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
That bank of the river is almost continuous parking lots omg. Good riddance 👋🏼- Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
Just keep in mind that it’s not a part of the project…but a hopeful vision for a separate one- Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Dealing with a 120 year old unique bridge is a challenge, but it’s mostly contractor negligence imo. And this is a contractor with a lot of experience. Most public projects don’t have incentive/disincentive, they only have liquidated damages which are supposed to capture the public’s loss of use. They are being charged, but not for the full extent due to other mitigating circumstances and contactually allowable delays (pandemic related material procurement issues).- Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News

Is this the tweet you meant to post 🧐- Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
I agree with you. Some of the personnel moves they’ve made like elevating Calley Mersmann are great. But others not so much, and progress is stil soooooo slow it’s frustrating. The fact that Bike Cleveland is having to basically do the city’s job for them (which is a great effort but is resulting in small improvements) is very sad.- Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Welp, obviously the bridge isn’t open yet. A few more parts were found to not be working, and the contractor is still trying to fix mistakes they made long ago. Could be a few days, could be a few weeks…but there’s not that much more to do.- Cleveland: Random Development and News
Yeah, that one’s tough because it’s not like there is a large pool of local talent. Hopkins is it. I think you’d also run into accusations of hand-pick successors which is never a good look.- Cleveland-Akron: Bicycling Developments and News
Did not know this interactive map existed, very nice. I know the vertical dotted line here will be completed as a part of an upcoming ODOT project. It will end up connecting Broadway with Washington Park as well as making the connection under I-77 to the Morgana Run trail. The map needs a little updating though, this portion of trail between Broadway and Pershing (which I’m not sure is ever used lol) is complete as you can see on the aerial 🤓- Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Ugh, now I’ll have to attend the block club meeting to vote in favor.- Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
When republicans say they want small government, I guess they mean 59 small governments.- Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
On the one hand, using public dollars for for Riverfront revitalization is nice. But on the other hand, a bunch of courthouses doesn’t really lend itself to a lively riverfront with much to do…having multiple large buildings with no public access doesn’t seem like the best idea to me.- Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
Need to add the median planter on Ontario across from Progressive Field. Arborvitaes and a bunch of weeds ☹️- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Honestly they probably could, but: 1. There would be additional costs due to maintaining access and ability to host games 2. Team would lose ticket/parking/concession revenue and I’m guessing that’s unacceptable to them - Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
