  1. The Hampton Inn on Superior two blocks north of the Rose Building was bought by Spark GHC some time last year. Part of the joint venture, Spark Hotels, also manages multiple suburban hotels. It looks like it includes IHG and Marriott brands. GHC (Green Harvest Capital) is focused on "B & C multi-family assets in Cleveland-Akron-Canton North to South corridor." A Rose building redevelopment with a boutique hotel brand would seem to be higher end than the rest of their portfolio up to this point. Its good to see newer local development teams get involved with downtown conversions.
  2. I also liked the look without striping when I biked through. Pavers done well like this can inform behavior pretty well. The bus traffic signals are the originals. Its a smaller detail, but it would be worth removing one of the inner signal fixtures on each pole.
  3. I'm assuming the boom lifts on Eagle and Stones Levee bridges are for demolition prep? Work on (at least the lower half) of the new Eagle Ave bridge/ramp would likely need to coincide with work on the Cavs facility with how close they are. Construction phasing of the new bridge, its intersection with the new roadway closer to the river and the facility itself will be interesting to see.
