Favorite Chain Pizza
Never heard of it. Small chain, primarily in Cincy. There's one on Lee Road, I highly recommend giving it a try. Also, one just opened last week in Lakewood on Detroit.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Yeah, even if you personally are in favor of the nightclub, I don't see how Cimperman opposing a nightclub that residents don't want would be considered a scumbag political move.

One Cleveland Wish
I agree, I really think a D-1 football team would go a long way to turning CSU into less of a commuter school. Anyone know if this is in their master plan at all?

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Why? I don't drink anymore. Even when I did, I didn't get plastered before the game or at the game (I usually got drunk after the game when I could afford to and to ease the pain of the loss). But I wanted to watch it and remember it. If people just want to get really sh!t-faced, go to a bar. It's a helluva lot cheaper! I don't understand the fascination with getting drunk before going to a place (Browns Stadium) that costs so much to get inside. I think he meant that you'll never see a sobriety checkpoint at a browns game, so you won't want to go anytime soon.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
I thought he played well when he was covering the slot. They say that is his forte, so as long as we aren't asking him to play too much outside, I think he'll be fine.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Once Tuck gets back, we go a solid 8 deep at Oline. Thats about as good as you can get in the NFL. Corner is a little more worriesome, but I feel good about our top 3 - Wright, McDonald and Cousins. I'd feel alot better if a 4th would step up.

iPhone
I got the iPhone ripoff Samsung Instinct last night. It's not as good as the iPhone in web and apps, but I didn't have to switch carriers and it ended up costing me $60 after rebates and whatnot. It looks like an iPhone and has a lot of the same features (visual vm, GPS, etc). So far I'm pleased with it.

The Ohio State University Buckeyes Football Discussion
Does OU even have a varsity football team anymore? I thought it went Club because of Title IX? Or maybe it just seems that way.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
While I agree that its never seems very busy when I've been there, the Cleveland Grill has been open for at least 5 years...so they must be doing something right.

City or Suburb
I wasn't sure exactly which one to choose. I grew up in Medina, but I lived on a dairy farm, so it was hardly exurbia...so I chose "sticks". And I live in Lakewood, which isn't exactly "the city", but I'm not in some cul-de-sac in Strongsville, either...so I chose city.

Visiting Cleveland (for the first time) June 23-26, Need travel tips, Room, etc
Depends on what you like to see. I would suggest going to the Warren Rd and Detroit area. Lion & Blue is a cool little hippie shop there, there is a music store at the corner as well and a Phoenix (indie) coffee shop next door to Lion & Blue. You could go to Melt for a beer (or later for dinner, highly recommend - www.meltbarandgrilled.com). There's a plaza across the street with a Marc's, which is an independently owned chain of stores that sell a variety of goods from hair products to toys to clothing to food. Most of the stuff is stuff that's imperfect/flawed in an unnoticeable way to most consumers but allows you to get good discounts. Cash or check only. Agree with everything RR says, especially Melt. I'd also recommend The Beer Engine on Madison west of Warren, El Tango Taqueria on Madison west of Bunts or Angelo's Pizza on Madison east of Bunts. Also, in the strip of storefronts in front of the Marc's plaza there is a Souper Market soup stand and a Dave's Cosmic subs, which is one of the better sub shops in town. Or, if you enjoy middle eastern food, there is Aladdin's on Detroit east of Warren. Aladdin's is a popular local chain, and Lakewood is the original. For non-food activities, I'd recommend Lakewood park and all of the streets near the lake. There are some very beautiful homes in that area. I'm not sure what your plans are, but you could hit up Lakewood tomorrow when you go to the Rocky River Reservation park. The north end of the park is a really nice marina area. The path/road goes up the hill from there and you'll be on Detroit Rd in the West End of Lakewood.

Ohio Smoking Ban
I think a "family owned business" means that every employee is a memeber of the family. So a bar couldn't be exempt unless there were no non-family member employees.
