  1. Hey everyone, I got a quick question. Is the official title for the Guardians adorning the Hope Memorial Bridge of Transportation or Traffic. Transportation seems to be showing up on reputable sources, with Traffic being a unambiguous modern foreshortening.
  2. Unfortunately with a free account it limits responses to 40 max, but thank you to everyone who was able to participate! It seems about 50% of people are happy with the design, ~20% would have modified them in some way, and 30% think Jack and Meg are icky. Here are the results from the poll:
  3. I made a quick poll concerning the stripes to get a better picture of what the forum thinks. I'll link it below... https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6LLGNF7

Alright so there was a pretty nice rainbow when I got back in town Had to get over to the Ledges ASAP Convinced the neighborhood to eat in FEB so I could check out the new construction My bros Though not really captured here, apparently my friends mate from Philly was anticipating MGK's 27 Club, so word gets around which is cool. Thought the Lumen demonstrated it's extension of downtown here, and if I'm not mistaken this was near one of the potential SHW HQ sites, and now maybe one of the Justice Center sites ... Went for a walk in Brecksville Reservation for my moms bday (and admittedly to see the dam* (edit - oops) removal, pardon the slight trespassing). Additionally, I was quite blown away by the wetlands and biodiversity skirting the trail. There was a beautiful heron that escaped my concentration before I was able to snap it, as well as numerous snakes (which gave me a good scare) in the lock further along the trail. Mom showed us her old apartment and where she used to take walks with our father across the street, which now has an incredible community garden. Return to the back of my hand And finally, I went to Blue Hen Falls because it might be the epicenter of my childhood. I wish I could share the clip I have of the water reflecting on the underside of this tree like the bottom of a pool on a sunny day because it's magical but I'm inept in that regard atm so I'll just post a link. https://i.imgur.com/My3s1nX.mp4 I know it's an exurban take on NEO but I try to embrace the New England charm of Hudson and its access to CVNP when I'm there, and push against the social maladies I encounter there as well.

I'm about to do a big photo drop of my trip home earlier this month if thats okay i just gotta do some formatting. Shot on my iphone so they arent great but I love NEO so they all look like postcards to me...
  6. Doesn't always go as planned, but I'mma take a crack at a couple.
  7. I snapped these when I was messing around back in November but didn't have the confidence to post. So happy and relieved this thread was created because not only is it insane fun, it's also an important think tank on the visual impact increasing urbanity will have on our city. I'm gonna stop myself from launching into a discussion on what might be called skyline iconography(?) here as I can't seem to keep one sentence from turning into ten. Hope to post more in future and ?? to everyone here.
  8. Hit the breaks. Where did this horizontal striping come from? Sorry for poor quality screengrab.
  9. Counting the days till I can see this juggernaut again...
  10. This
  11. It's a blurry live cam screen cap and the building is quite dark, but I couldn't resist messing with that view. Might be short a foot or so
  12. Small thing I noticed, not sure how recent, but the photo has been changed to a much favorable one, in my opinion, when searching "Cleveland" in google. Previous: Current:
  13. Best I can do rn.
  14. Just Saw it in it in a this bar now in Cincinnati, and was surprised it wasn’t just an NEO thing.
  15. Always wanted to do this, an hour later and now I know how. Gonna spend some time today plugging in other projects and "guesstimassings". Lmk if there's any specific viewpoints I should post, it's truly quite impactful from certain angles.
  16. My thoughts as well, I don't know why Stark would have it on their second page if it doesn't do the project justice.
  17. My attempt:
  18. This makes assumptions for SW HQ, the city club apartments, and the frangos site. 2023?
  19. I don't know the correct terminology, cladding rail maybe, but they began affixing these white horizontal members to the eastern corner of the exterior on the 16th. If that gives any clue to the imminence... If you pan to the left in the Q's Camera 1 you have a great view of 515, as well as the crane over at the Lumen. Hope this is helpful/pertinent.
  20. Isn't that some kind of cookie cutter senior center/veterans center?
  21. It would be nice to be able to pin/bookmark threads to a "favorites list".
  22. Speaking of the FRONT Triennial, I was surprised to see that as part of the City Canvas project they are planning on painting the south wall of the Standard Building with a red gingham mural.
