Huntington Tower 330'

  1. Looks like the plan went well beyond the lots that have been previously discussed. Glad to see some sort of vision for this area.
  2. I think it'd look much better with this sort of color scheme. Like NYC Boomerang mentioned; Cleveland needs brighter buildings like Toronto to make it feel more alive.
  3. I just threw up in my mouth. Starks color pallet needs an update.
  4. I personally think they dropped the ball on the color. Way too much browns/red on that side of Euclid to begin with. Should have designed it to really stand out. I would have loved to see something like below.
  5. I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but does anyone know if they plan on having any sort of rooftop patio/bar/restaurant? From the last photo, it looks like there might be an entire wall of windows.
  6. I am a little relieved to read this design is an old version. The design could be so much better, and I guess we will have to wait and see what gets submitted.
  7. I'm fine with the size and design, but the part I absolutely hate (by the looks of it) is the exposed parking on top. If I were a resident there, the last thing I'd want to look down on is a parking deck full of cars. I wish they would have taken the rooftop terrace concept from the last design and carried it over to this one. Would have been a great opportunity for a rooftop pool.
  8. Love the new design/renderings!
  9. I wouldn't mind a Steak N Shake downtown either...
  10. I think it's a great show of confidence in the downtown area that Shake Shack is opening up...
  11. I was photographing a wedding yesterday, and the bride was getting ready on the 30th floor of the Hilton. Took a moment to snag some shots of 515.
  12. I was browsing downtown Cleveland via maps yesterday, and couldn't help but cringe when I looked at the Warehouse district. I understand Weston published plans a couple years ago, but can someone educate me on why there are so many surface lots in this area, and is there anything that can be done to start developing this area? All this red is really depressing...
  13. Walked down Euclid last night and grabbed a couple night shots!
  14. I'm excited to see more development happening in Mid-Town, but is there any chance anything taller than 100ft will get built? With all the open space in the area, I feel like it's the perfect opportunity to add density and essentially develop another downtown like feel. Wouldn't be too bad to extend the skyline as well....
  15. I photographed a wedding reception here last month. I was talking with someone who knows the new buyer and they mentioned something about the project manager wishing to get rid of some of the columns... I'll be extremely pissed if this is true.
  16. When I extrapolate the image to hit 19 floors it seems like the height is going to go over the current crane height by a floor or two.
  17. Had the opportunity this week to check out a new coworking space in Ohio City off Jay St. called LimeLight Work. Here are a few pics of the space. I think it will do really well. I've been waiting for a space to open up like this is the area. I posted more pics on my site: http://www.andrewsmithblog.com/blog-1/2018/4/26/limelight-work-cleveland-coworking-space
  18. For a city target of course. ;)
  19. Where are the dates of operation though? I'm trying to find flights and keep getting errors for all the dates I'm checking.
  20. Or Midtown. I'd love to see that area built up more and increase density.
  21. Every time I drive past Nashville I always wonder what the hell they're doing that Cleveland is not. With each time a travel past there are more and more cranes in the air. 3-4 years ago it wasn't like this, but within the last year it's crazy to me how much construction started happening. It seems to me mostly residential as well.
  22. Photo I got yesterday with a reeeeallly tall ladder. ;)
  23. Wasn't sure where to put this so here you go! Hopefully opening is right around the corner!
