Hey all, So I have been asked to join a local task force looking at alternative transportation methods for our town. We are a small community right outside Cincinnati with no bike lanes and only one bus route through town. I’m very familiar with logistics but not urban planning. What are some of the key metrics/planning tools used? Also if there are any reading materials you’d recommend, we don’t start for another month or so. Thanks

Does anyone know if something is happening around 12th and Main, close to the Davis building/Salvation army?? They appeared to be a surveying the area yesterday, a helicopter circled for about 15 min.

I’m hearing that 3CDC reps meet with local 4th street businesses to inform them that development will not break ground at the end of July. Also there are additional changes needed to be approved by city council that need approval which won’t happen till after summer break....

Kent Building(201 Grandview) in Bellevue Ky is asking for a map adjustment next Monday to increase its density in the zone to infinite. The developer is looking to add 66 units with parking for each unit on the 1st floor of the unit. It will be market rate with studios,1 bedroom and 2 bedroom floor plans. Orleans is the developer same as the Boone Block in Covington.

I'm not sure about the Kroger details....but I think the TIF money is gone for the project. Also if this mid-2018 is actual, I hope someone answers for the 1M spent on paragon salon. Poorly mismanaged. The lease would have been up in November.
