  1. http://www.cincinnati.com/story/opinion/editorials/2016/04/21/time-let-dennison-hotel-go/83337332/ Another example of why I can't stand the enquirer. The first sentence supports historical conservation. Then goes on to say for the better of development we should tear it down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Does anyone know the plans for 305-309 sycamore? I saw today it sold to ANTAEUS INC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. New development 75M coming to Corryville,Clifton heights,Mt. Auburn intersection: http://m.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/04/14/75m-mixed-use-project-planned-for-uptown.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Enquirer just posted an article on OTR if anyone is interested: http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2016/04/10/what-over--rhine-look-like-15-years/82270534/ Found this interesting, 3CDC is moving their focus to court street. Anybody know what they are planning? "Mileham said there are still plenty of vacant buildings in Over-the-Rhine that can be renovated. The developer plans to focus its efforts on the urban core, from west to east. Specifically, the area around Court Street is a new focus for 3CDC." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Hopefully we can keep seeing some positive supportive articles like this come out of the local media: http://www.cincinnati.com/story/opinion/contributors/2016/04/04/opinion-streetcar-can-enhance-downtown-events/82523764/
  10. Jean Robert's new restaurant "L" at Great America is close to opening. http://www.cincinnati.com/story/entertainment/dining/2016/03/31/jean-roberts-new-restaurant-has-name/82433984/ I find it interesting that western and southern is not only the landlord of the property but also an investor. I know there have been talks of future development in this corner of CBD, but is this any indication of more to come? Anyone have anything?
  11. JWilliams is tweeting about, your right. https://mobile.twitter.com/jwilliamscincy

  13. I'm curious, does anyone know the 7 day record for CBD development?
  14. Not sure if that is the news or this: http://m.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/03/14/exclusive-70m-redevelopment-planned-for-historic.html
  15. Another project along the streetcar line!! http://m.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/03/14/exclusive-tom-neyer-jr-to-redevelop-building-along.html
  16. Signage for Rook…does anybody know when this is set to open?
  17. I think people under estimate the Cincinnati region. Take siteselection recent report where we rank 4th in NA for development. We rank fairly high in multiple categories. If we can bring all this development closer to the urban core the possibilities are endless. Reference: http://siteselection.com/cc/wmcc/2015/
  18. We may just have a race on our hands now who can build all these proposals/plans fastest! Really exciting times!!!!
  19. Any updates on when this is set to start?
  20. If you look at their proposal it appears there will be one restaurant on the ground floor. This project also has a lot of development around it. Queen City Radio across the street and the Shakespeare theater/Boutique hotel. If you want any more detail on the floor plan of the strietmann building it can be found in the January 11 Otr historic packet.

  22. First I've heard on the KOI warehouse repurpose: http://m.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/02/24/exclusive-cincinnatis-urban-resurgence-brings-new.html
  23. Maybe they decided it's an urban area and the need to rethink the design. For example they just released this for their new ATL store:
  24. Only thing I can think of due to the size they wanted to stagger the Windows to align with their study: "These shifts and movement, over the course of 140’, create a very rich, dynamic, street front. It is a subtle, complex richness that we are trying to capture in our design, “in an e ort to maintain [this] rhythm that already exists in the district” (OTR Guidelines). We are trying to capture the same sense of movement, and richness, and continue it to the corner of 15th and Vine."-page 197 Not sure why the did it vertically.
  25. http://m.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2016/02/02/uc-board-takes-another-look-at-law-school-move-to.html Looks like the law school is closer to moving.
