  1. Not sure if this topic has been mentioned previously, but do you know if any light rail connection will/can be tied to this project?
  2. Copenhagen is a city used to having development on water. I believe that it's also smaller than Cleveland but is more populated. The need to develop there may be a contributing factor (I don't know). I'm sure that these type of developments in Copenhagen may happen sooner than later. I do like the ideas you mentioned.
  3. Where do they currently conduct training and conference functions?
  4. Is that for the movie they are doing in town?
  5. Yes, the Rock Hall has a store. If you think about it, how likely are you to travel to the Rock Hall to visit the store if you are near Progressive Field?
  6. That's actually a good idea. Even though the Rock Hall would more than likely not consider this type of venture, the prospect of creating a record store with the backing of the Rock Hall would provide a nice niche. Plus, it could've bridged the Rock Hall to other parts of downtown (which could've spurred other Rock & Roll store concepts to pop up).
  7. Because of the way the windows sink in and protrude from the design.
  8. When I’m in Dubai, I always try to catch a photo of this building from the highway. It makes me think of what Nucleus probably would’ve looked like.
  9. Forgot to mention this a few weeks ago. I was in Huntsville, Alabama and noticed this parking garage. 3D printed rain screens were added to the design. The screens also change colors. Would you all prefer something like this?
  10. Do you know what percentage of the apartments will be geared towards touring productions on month to month (if that's the plan) leasing? I'm guessing different products require differing accommodations.
  11. I mean higher than what SW originally plan for the second tower. Which I believe will add a little more balance to the skyline.
  12. I think that its a nice addition to the skyline. I also begrudgingly am somewhat glad that SW didn't go higher. It now seems to force them to go higher on the second phase. Even though it would've been nice for them to go higher, I'm optimistic about what the second tower will add to the skyline (imagine going higher on the first tower and the second tower looking somewhat like the Marriot next to Key Tower). I love the diversity to the skyline that it adds.
  13. Thanks for the correction.
  14. Me personally, I like a blend of old and new in a city's skyline. It adds to the history, showing progression. Look at Cleveland's now big four- Terminal Tower shows the building boom of the 30's, PS200 is very 80's ish, Key Tower is a 90's design and SW is current.
  15. Actually, I think PHS should rename it, "The Hound of Grey". Like a play on a theatre playbill.
  16. I had to work within the budget. I did squeeze another story into the project though.
  17. I know you all have been anxiously awaiting news to drop concerning the second tower. I can now confirm that SW has officially assigned me with the task of heading the updated design team. It will officially be 46 stories tall with large floor plans (the 26th floor will become my condo as compensation). I am not taking any questions/concerns at the moment. More to follow...
  18. Playhouse Square surely has an outstanding plan for this location. Considering their track record and ability to move projects to fruition, I can't think of an owner better suited for this site. Especially since they've been eyeing the Greyhound location for a while now.
  19. To be fair, you can greatly improve how an apartment looks with the right decor that you decide to put in it. So... if you're moving here, don't go to a thrift store to furnish your apartment while having grandioso expectations. 😉
  20. @KJPone of the things that stood out to me in your blog was this statement: “According to the highly placed source, Sherwin-Williams executives view Greater Cleveland as a growth market for the next two to three decades and are making a bet on that.” With SW actively petitioning companies who they have joint ventures with to at least open a satellite location here is very telling as well. It seems that SW believes that Cleveland will grow substantially above the curve within the next 20 years. Hopefully that translates to not only an economic boom but a massive skyline transformation.
  21. I actually didn't know that Cleveland was that visible from that vantage point. Very nice.
