Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
Looks about right - I was driving at night …

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
I happened to be driving in Union City, an older, very dense inner ring suburb just outside Manhattan. I was noticing how they’ve installed nice retro black street lamps and really nicely painted all the street lanes. This urban neighborhood really looked much improved - “little things” can make a very big difference in the look of a place. Not sure where Cleveland is in regard to the street lamps etc - but I hope its been improving

@roman totale XVIIcan you share a little about your techniques? I’m available by private message so that we’re not endangering the thread.

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
Ive been saying for years that someone should have the job description (or At least a part of their job) just looking around town to make sure that things like this aren’t going uncorrected for unreasonable lengths of time. How hard can it be? And how helpful it could be.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
On a different topic…could the “party” be winding down? After reading Stan Bullard’s article, “ Say Goodbye to low interest rates and a building boom” in the April 18 Crain’s - It was a bit of a reality check on what may be on the immediate horizon On a very positive note, the same Crain’s contained an editorial on a very strong start by mayor Justin Bibb after his first 100 days - great to hear!! What say you, Forum experts?

Cleveland: University Circle: Circle Square
With the stunning views available from University Circle taking in downtown, the lake and the scenic park views - you’ve got to think that it’s not too long until we add yet another tall residential tower there. Love the verticality and urbanity at UC in addition to the cosmopolitan quality it’s long possessed.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Love that Cleveland is embracing its artistic side - it’s always been there, but it seems we’re more open to its possibilities than before - and giving artists more opportunities. Let the trend continue and here’s to a more beautiful city!

I can think of a couple billionaires who might “like” to contribute to the cause.

Kent / Kent State University: Development and News
Did my undergrad studies at KSU - I always loved it there but man, the campus and the town has really changed - for the good.

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Was that quite a bit “post-game”? Looks like almost everybody at The Beacon had gone to sleep 💤

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
You mean something like what @Geowizical pictured- Also - Could a new Justice Center be just to the left or northwest of the Stokes Courthouse? I think it’s a parking lot now.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Sorry, but I don’t think there’s anything THAT special about the garage - it’s a garage - don’t overthink things! But change is hard for a lot of people. But, in this particular case maybe one more redesign of Bridgeworks might actually help the end result if they can keep it on budget. Just don’t wanna lose this significant project because of too much b.s. before it starts…

Cleveland: Random Development and News
They have no sense of urgency or maybe even realization about how they negatively effect Cleveland’s momentum. Don’t take the gig if you’re not all in.

Cleveland: Nautica Development
I want all that!

Cleveland: University Circle: Circle Square
The Artisan is about to overtake One University Circle for tallest at UC.

Cleveland: Nautica Development
That pic gives you a sense of what a great neighborhood could be developed in that area.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
Looks like the color palette is a little more subtle. The yellow is gone. Looks much better.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I’m excited like everyone else here about this project being associated with “Starchitrect” Adjaye. The view of downtown with the reimagined riverfront would have major curb appeal . Just like the view of the RHOF with the newer towers of downtown behind it. I’m also excited at the prospect of something more unique and interesting than the massing we saw in front of the Landmark building. Something distinctive and innovative to be a Cleveland signature. . As for the examples in the portfolio shared by @mrnyc- NY’s possible Affirmation Tower is huge, arresting and completely unique - but makes me feel off-balance - I feel like it’s going to topple over! For Cleveland, I personally would rather not see black or a very dark colored buildings along the riverfront - I think the current infrastructure combined with our climate calls for something with some color. My two cents anyway.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
If we have a relatively functional Jarrett Allen, I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Cavs be in position to win the next play-in game down the stretch. I thought their effort was pretty good in Brooklyn - the Nets without Kryie would’ve been in some trouble - but it is what it was. But being out of town and too cheap to buy the nbA season pass, I haven’t seen that many Cavs games this year - was this game typical of Caris Levert? Man was i underwhelmed.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
Can we get that Gateway Tower, too?

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
AND the reverse jinx continues with today’s 10 run outburst…..

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Great point - and that was in 90-91 with Cleveland’s greatest high rise construction boom, I believe - Key Tower, Fifth Third and the Downtown Marriott at Key. And North Point Tower was completed in 1990.

Cleveland: University Circle: Circle Square
The Artisan should be an amazing place to live - and it’ll only get better the higher the floor. Imagine those views in any direction. UC is looking very cosmopolitan.

Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
Especially the latter makes sense.
