Home2 suites recently opened, the apartments should be move in any day now,.. *drove by last week n still empty but looked about finished from the exterior... New fire station is finally started w foundations poured in mid may... New hospital is topped out, still nowhere near enclosed... And the perrysburg rt 25 diverging diamond interchange will be complete shortly, w construction crews finally starting final touches left over from the fall..

Love that first pic kjp! All good shots, but in that one, something about the blend of diff types of architecture, w the trees, some pedestrian traffic, n the transit station at a nice street level,.. really cool! Id love to see the same shot, a year from now.. good by pnc tower!

Yea.. what's the deal w that? Why can't they touch the waterfront? I remember hearing talk of bike/walking path thru there, which is atleast a start I guess? There's an article in the blade today about Hollywood Casino numbers down... again... idk, I mean, I'm glad it's there.. provides a few people I know w good paying jobs. We are no longer losing the money to detroit, and atleast it wasn't paid for by tax dollars.. oh, and Hollywood also made upgrades to the Miami st 75 interchange which was part of the deal to go there. *though that interchange will be completely redone again in a few years when they redo the 75 disalle bridge over the maumee. The new parts of the interchange were done just before the casino opened, so not even 10 years old

My understanding is that one actually predates the Jimmy Buffet brand, and was once sued by "Jimmy Buffet" (the corporate entity) but won and was able to keep the name; they refer to themselves as "The Original Margaritaville" and Jimmy's are all "Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville". Some googling didn't lead me anywhere to confirm or deny that however, so it could just be an old rumor. Sounds legit to me.. always drove by it on the way to cedar point, it's kinda way out in the sticks.. never have been, but wondered of it was connected w jimmy.. maybe I'll have to try both out

Not yet... the parking garage is nearly complete, I haven't seen much of the actual steam plant in a while... I'll take pics next nice day l, buy might need help posting
