  1. Any thoughts on that non-touchdown at the end of the game? I didn't see it... but a lot of people are saying the Browns got robbed.

How does Crocker Park compare to Steelyard Commons? Steelyard at least is in the city of Cleveland.. and seems to have a much more "essential" retail mix (Giant Eagle, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target)

Crocker Park has an exciting mix of retail and lifestyle options. The scale and style of the architecture and streetscapes is reminiscient of the classic American hometown.
  6. much better than Jackson, MI
  7. I really enjoyed the Browns' throwback uniforms this past week. Here is the Browns' helmet of the future:
  8. I wonder if they'll have enough money left over to buy the Cleveland Browns.
  9. very interesting
  10. That Osbourne Building restoration is amazing.

    Columbus exudes elegance.
  12. I drove through this town a hundred times. It was always a refreshing oasis of olde-type small-town urbanism on that Wooster-to-Pittsburgh trip.
  13. Yes... but does have a Rockne's... mmm... Rockne's.
  14. you lead the coolest life, mrnyc lol love those baby blue unis
  15. Thanks guys. The condo tower just opened to residents a few weeks ago. The other construction site pictured is a 23-story mixed-use tower including condos. But we certainly have destroyed our share of historic buildings here in Pittsburgh... though Downtown hasn't been harmed too much and has remained super-dense. We had a couple of architecturally-spectacular NorthSide neighborhoods that were leveled for highways and a failed shopping mall. Over 500 mid-1800s Greek Revival structures... the "Downtown of NorthSide" were destroyed for a mall that died 20 years later (though it's now used as office space).
  16. ah good... I love the Cleveland Fed's metropolitan profiles. Cincy does seem to have a higher concentration of "Professional & Business Services" than many other regional cities. Interesting that Cincy MSA's employment did not suffer as much from the post 9/11 recession as the U.S. However, Cincy's employment in the past two years has stagnated while the U.S. has accelerated.
  17. I'm not sure if I've ever been to those four southwestern neighborhoods... what are they like (housing stock, business districts, local culture, transit, topography, demographics, whatever, etc.)?
  18. True, 23rd safest city Parma would be a Columbus neighborhood, not a suburb, if it was relocated to Franklin County.
  19. btw, Toledo ranked 47th and Columbus 48th most dangerous cities. The study excluded Chicago, Minneapolis and other Illinois and Minnesota cities due to incomplete data.
  20. Don't worry, Philly landed at No. 21. And Philly's naughty little brother, Camden, is fifth. Anyways... congrats to Parma.
  21. Awesome... this means I won't have to take I-70 anymore... which is so terribly inconvenient! What a mind-blowingly stupid proposal.
  22. Browns Backers invaded Pittsburgh today! http://kdka.com/video/[email protected]
  23. That was the most thrilling game I've seen all year. The Browns have earned a measure of respect in failure that few teams garner in victory.
  24. The Browns look amazing today :( Thought you guys might find this map interesting:
  25. uhhh... the Steelers stood with the Browns as well. Dan Rooney was one of only two NFL owners that voted against the Baltimore move. Pittsburgh also had a pro-Browns rally before the team moved.
