  1. ^^^^^^ this is so correct! One of the busiest corners in downtown CLE can't find a tenant. And there is so much more vacant space on the way as these new apartments open. Lumen will have space, Halle has open space, Statler, Athlon, Euclid Grand, and on and on and on....plus May CO.
  2. ^^ not done as of Saturday morning
  3. Construction elevator side is finally done!!
  4. Same, 4 times in the past 2 months I had to drive instead of rail because of shutdown.

You might also want to look at some of the buildings on 4th. They're getting a bit dated, but the rents arent bad. The Ivory on Euclid is also not bad rent wise. Lastly, Lakewood is great..but its not downtown. Its a totally different experience. (I've lived in both) If you have any questions, ask away. I know there are lots of other forum members who live downtown

I moved into downtown Cleveland in February of this year. I'm much older than you, but I did look at most of the available spaces, including the Warehouse District. I'm in the Halle building, and I was surprised at the mix of ages in this building. It goes from 20 somethings to 70 year olds. Warehouse district definitely leans towards a "younger" crowd. But also the rents are going to be more in your price range. My cousin just moved into the Archer, and he LOVES it. him and roomate, huge 2 bedroom, 2 bath that would be in your budget (if you got a roomate).

  16. Good God man. Do you ever have anything positive to say? # of the building facades look fantastic in person. The first building still needs some cleaning, but is night and day from what it looked like. And the last building will get all new stonework.
  17. there actually was little damage. A hole thru the concrete, which can be fixed in a day. The rest was just the underlayment for the concrete floor. They can put that back up in a day.
  18. OSHA gonna have some questions for Gilbane.......That's their second accident in two years. Someone died at CSU Engineering building construction few years ago

  20. It was crazy!!!! Thats the loudest boom I've heard in awhile. We thought a bomb went off. I'll bet the beams fell about 200'......Only damage was to the floor supports. Me thinks that might be shut down for awhile...I'll post pics in a bit
  21. I’m glad the sidewalk is finally open and scaffolding is gone..... but do we need to make the 4’ wide sidewalk even narrower by putting a potted plant on it??
