Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I thought the proposed tower looked really cool until i read this,,,,,,although I agree on the garage. Still hoping that gets changed and they put storefronts on the ground level

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Nice detective work,Ken!! Hopefully this gets announced soon......although most impressive thing in that pic is that the fountain is actually working!

Cleveland: Duck Island: Development and News
Glad to see this is still happening! That really cleans up an ugly dirt parking lot.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
This is such a great project......can the planning commission do anything about the garage? I understand separate entrance for residence, but cant that be put on the back side in the alley? And it HAS to have storefronts

Suburban Cleveland: Development and News
Why would you want to take SW R&D from Downtown? Its a nice chunk of land.....I just wish it could be used to recruit a company from outside the area to come in.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
After seeing those renderings, the Tower is spectacular....and it seems that there are some balconies worked in. The garage is growing on me....but still hope they push to include the retail from the start. Build this so i can move in!!

Its Saucy Brewery....set to open in July!

Cleveland: Random Development and News
I think this city has forgotten that it needs to COMPETE for residents. We are all free agents to some extent......I lived in Cleveland for a few years 20 years ago and was shocked at how poor the services were. Seems they've gotten worse. I'd like to move back into the city....but leadership HAS to do better. Lights.....Garbage......potholes.....cracked poles........ This is basic stuff.

Cleveland: Opportunity Corridor Boulevard
^ great pics the last couple of days! I still can't believe that Opportunity Blvd is still progressing.....such a waste of $$$

Cleveland: Retail News
^This statement is so right on. Every Suburb wants its "lifestyle center" and open up the same shops as every other center. Pincrest is the perfect example....Legacy and Eton Collection both will suffer. We need some sort of Regionalism in this area!!!

^ agree on the retail!! I also read that the Euclid entrance will be for residents of tower and other entrance will be for everyone else. They want to keep them separate.

CLEVELAND - new Edgewater Park beach house!
I think it just goes to show that Greater Cleveland want access to the lake!
-
CLEVELAND - new Edgewater Park beach house!
Just got back from Edgewater......The traffic jams on both side of the shoreway should be an indication of how well the MetroParks have done. It was absolutely packed down there. And the beach house lines to get food, drink or alcohol were crazy!!...Even better...Whiskey Island was slammed and so was Merwins Wharf.......Fun day!!

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I understand that....But I'm part of the "please put in more restaurants" crowd who wants more options. This will be my future home...And by putting the garage there, Playhouse is wanting to direct more people to the Euclid side. Just put the space in now, Don't worry about correcting it later.....This spot demands it.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
It literally is across the street from one of the largest Theater districts in a America.....It has to have space for Restaurants and shops. I'm hopeful the city forces it up front.....
-
Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
In todays PD....Litt 's article said no ground floor retail, but can be added later "if there is demand" Ugh

CLEVELAND - new Edgewater Park beach house!
Great pictures!!! I'm actually heading there today. What the MetroParks has done for that beach is fantastic. Can the rest of the city be turned over to them?! lol

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Is there a reason why all the new apartment renderings never include balconies? Are they prohibited by code in Downtown? or does it add cost to construction? I've lived in apartments without balconies........its not fun.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
And the demand for rentals in Downtown, and this whole metro area.....is JOBS.....Cbus is growing, so can we!!
-
Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
This is phenomenal....and hopefully my new home!! And thank god they are bringing the garage back to the Euclid ave side of Playhouse. Theater goers need to be on Euclid and in the shops and restaurants.....not walking thru a tunnel thru the back and never stepping foot on a street. This is fantastic! Any word on street level retail??
