Hello all, I am new to this forum, not totally sure this is where it should be asked, so I apologize in advance.
I was referred to this forum from /r/cleveland on Reddit when I asked about any information on the history of the design of Public Square. Primarily I am trying to find out the designer of the southern quadrant of Public Square prior to the reconstruction. Any information, documents, or photos on the design history of Public Square would be very helpful. My interest for this information is a little obscure, the southern quadrant has been a historic spot for the Cleveland skateboarding scene since the 80's and it's deconstruction is a symbolic loss. It served as the meeting ground for the skaters from the East and West side, due to its location and architecture. I hope this doesn't deter anyone from answering, I understand skateboarding is often viewed a problem when it comes to the preservation of a public space.
Thank you!
