Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Two+ at 117th and I haven't see any at 65th in years. If I had a choice I would rather see some type of RTA ambassador or someone like that at every station.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
How about a "trial" tactical style road diet to E9th. Painted bike lanes on left and right most lanes with those plastic bollards as dividers. I assume that could be implemented fairy quickly with the right people behind it. Not super pretty but would definitely make the statement that walkers and bikers are welcome on this route down to the lake.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
Agree. 10-15 would do great define the outdoor "room" of Euclid avenue there. Maybe PHSF can get an Act II and III going all at once.

Cleveland: Downtown: Playhouse Square Development and News
I can't remember if this idea was invented here on UO or not but wasn't adding a significant amount of floors, for residences on top of the Cowell & Hubbard building a serious consideration by PHSF at one point?

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
Well said. I think Cleveland benefits if we have the needed suppliers already in place here that are robust enough for Intel to tap into. What those are I'm not sure. Any new spin-off needed I would assume would be built in Columbus metro because it's closer. That's my thinking at least.

Cleveland: Duck Island: Development and News
^ all that and it's literally right next to a heavy rail metro stop. We don't have huge amount of those in this city (or the US for that matter). If you need car infrastructure pick from the near unlimited amount of other options in NEO 🤷♂️

My church, St. Rocco still has mass in Italian and... Latin.

Cleveland: Duck Island: Development and News
I think this new version is much better looking! They did a decent job of fixing the blankness of the Abby and 19th corner that was apart of the older versions.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Interesting but here is my thinking... if they are indeed going ahead and doing the caisson work on west 6th side now and the second tower is imminent then why didn't they just build the garage here with the needed foundation to start the second tower on top. That said, SWs overall approach to this HQ is often a mystery and leaves me somewhat confused :)

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I have been using the mobile app since they introduced it but for paper tickets I think there is an option when you purchase at the machine to dispense it activated or not. If there is no dip or sliding scan turnstyle at your boarding location then I believe this is your only option to activate, so ya it sounded like you needed method 2. It's confusing. I think it's active for 30 minutes which is also the free transfer timeframe. I have been questioned with unactivated tickets before, you just explain and I was never fined. Even if not questioned I would just throw it out for peace of mind that I paid but ya it's honor system at that point.

That's how it is. You should activate them, be it on mobile or paper ticket at machine before boarding. There is always chance you will be asked to show your pass and it should be activated at that time. I think terminal tower is the only pop location.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Someone correct me if mistaken, but I believe the keybank garage (800 superiors) has these very shallow retail spaces as well and I don't think I have ever seen them occupied. Exception being the larger space off the courtyard that Phoenix coffee has been for a long while.

Unfortunately, I don't think that gap will be filled. You have the garage talking up most of the northern Weston lot (I think its there in the render, just too short to see) and beyond that will be warehouse district scaled height.

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
Anyone on here a part of the 45-52 Block club, "Ohio City Heights"? Finally getting through my mail after being out of town and received a pamphlet from them. Thinking about attending their next meeting but never heard of them until now. Pretty much just wanting to know if this particular club is made of somewhat sane members 😄

Thanks for the update @KJP I look forward to see what other companies they get in there besides Amazon. Also, pretty sure that is/was engine plant 2 along Snow Rd.

It has taken some time adjusting to the idea of not having Cleveland's next big one on Jacobs lot. For decades it kind of was the defacto assumption. I personally came around at some point and see the merits in not having it that way. Something similar to Cleveland hotel here would be perfect, but that's not happening either. Where we are at with the current massing I would like it to keep the stately vibe already present on the square. The BP atrium is really the only outlier in this regard...can we bring back Williamson building there :( It won't be stately though. I don't think it it will be a glass box persay, they will probably throw in some weird angles to "mix" it up. It is what it is though. If I had to pick one thing for SW to somewhat drastically change it would be the parking garage and it's relation to Frankfort/W3rd. I'll spare you all, going down that road again 😆
