  1. I'd be happy with some new seats. EVERY time we go to an event, at least one of us has a seat with gum or old crusty nacho cheese on it. Some better concessions would also be nice. From a hockey perspective it would also be cool if there were some standing room only sections with a view of the ice.
  2. I just drove by Bubbly Hall and it certainly doesn't look as nice as the renderings, which is unfortunate. Looks almost like an office building or big box store. Next time I'll take some pictures.
  3. I think there are still some tenants for whatever reason, aren't final or listed on the website such as Warby Parker and Oak & Embers (which was announced about a month ago).
  4. Heard that the restaurant joining Cooper's Hawk across the street on the other side of Harvard will be a Chuy's - never been there but have heard that as far as Tex-Mex chains go, it is pretty good.
  5. I looked into the Brassica Van Aken filing in more detail and it was filed by Organic Trails Cafes which is the owner of Northstar Cafe and Brassica, so that appears to be a safe bet.
  6. Hopefully Nada will still happen, I was looking forward to it. Also bummed about Fusian if it is indeed not coming now too.
  7. I've heard Brassica is great. Also I was told by the manager at Naf Naf in Independence (same concept as Brassica) that they were eyeing Pinecrest as well as a Beachwood location.
  8. Major tenants were announced today. Interesting that FlipSide, Fusian and Kona were left off the list even though still on the discoverpinecrest.com website. Here is the link listing the tenants. I've heard Duck Donuts is great. Next Door Eatery could be interesting as well. http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2018/04/retailers_announced_at_230_mil_1.html
  9. I thought I read on here a while back that Nada Tacos (eatdrinknada.com) was coming to Pinecrest, which would have been great. If it is indeed coming to Pinecrest, nobody at Nada is aware and was told that they are not planning on expanding to Cleveland anytime soon.
  10. Quite a few more stores signed up vs what's listed on site (in various pages) - including some announced in other ways but not shown (Graeter's, etc...) - some 80% or more retail is leased but likely that's in square feet not in storefronts. And development opening in stages over months not all at once.... Looks very behind on unofficial May original timeline.. only REI opening then. (Answering question: West Elm new... Not at Legacy...) Fairmount is a local company and not savvy like a national company would be... Very poor social media and PR on this development. No excitement. No buzz. Where is the info about a Graeters!?! I haven't heard that one yet but that would be great!
  11. Just noticed that Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma are now on the Pinecrest website. Unfortunately, it looks like a number of tenants are merely moving (Red, Whole Foods, PB, WS) from just up the street and that there is not much of an influx of new retail and dining. And, the new dining are all chains that are for the most part the same as what we already have in the area. Not impressed so far.
  12. Read in the Chagrin Valley Times that the Landerwood Plaza (at Lander and Pinetree) where the Heinen's is located will be getting a facelift. I also saw that the Fresh Thyme opened up at the Golden Gate Shopping Center in Mayfield Heights. In one of the empty storefronts are plans for a facelift for that shopping center as well. The plans looked great, assuming they get approved. Its about time, because that shopping center needs it.
  13. Even though Cleveland.com posted those two articles a couple weeks ago saying everything is on track, just a couple months delay, in the past week I've heard from two people supposedly in the know that Red the Steakhouse and Whole Foods have backed out. I guess we'll see whose right but there sure are a lot of rumors of this not taking shape as expected. I'm hoping that if they did back out that those deals were simply contingent on the project securing financing and once that is attained, they will be back on.
  14. Just heard a rumor that Pinecrest has run into financial problems (which might explain why there has been no activity there in months) and that Whole Foods will NOT be going there anymore (they even renewed their lease at Village Square). If true, this would be a bummer for sure.
