Looks like there’s formwork that may create tree pits where there are no overhead utilities.

Wonder if they'll blow it up like the Baldwin Tower in 2004. https://digital-collections.columbuslibrary.org/digital/collection/p16802coll28/id/4456

^Hopefully the gravel parking lot to the east is the next project! It's still owned by Hamilton Parker whose brickyard used to be here.

Pablo replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionThat first floor kinda looks like a bunker. This isn't a location for retail but something could've been done to make it more inviting on the street.

January 1959 Franklinton flood on Brehl Ave. and view today, near W. Rich and Central. Not a whole lot has changed except for tree growth and removal.

No flood zone around here is 100' tall. The water conservation reservoir is just a new phrase for storm water detention.

Looks like 50 W Lane is back - This info is on the city's development tracker site, a really useful tool. https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/39172d7e3b49461e80affb3e639dfc0b Site plan and description are posted. The Lane Ave. side will be 100' tall and High St. side is 65'-9". I love that the current use is listed as Church/Bar. The church is a Baptist church.

Columbus: Clintonville Developments and News
Pablo replied to Summit Street's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionThis is what was proposed 7 years ago or so. This had to go through zoning that has since been changed by zone-in. That's why it's labeled a hotel - minimum stay is one year. 🤣 Wonder if the developer will change the building heights along Indianola now that they're allowed to?

Columbus: Clintonville Developments and News
Pablo replied to Summit Street's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionLooks like something might be happening in front of the Ave on Indianola. There’s straw wattle (used for erosion control on construction sites) set up around one of the outparcels. As I recall, these were slated to be one or two story buildings with various retail or medical office uses.
