  1. Looks like there’s formwork that may create tree pits where there are no overhead utilities.
  2. Wonder if they'll blow it up like the Baldwin Tower in 2004. https://digital-collections.columbuslibrary.org/digital/collection/p16802coll28/id/4456
  3. ^Hopefully the gravel parking lot to the east is the next project! It's still owned by Hamilton Parker whose brickyard used to be here.
  4. Looks like the Women's Tower is almost topped off. It seems that went up quickly!
  5. This is a great shot!! Seems like a big city! 🤪
  6. That first floor kinda looks like a bunker. This isn't a location for retail but something could've been done to make it more inviting on the street.
  7. I agree, I think it look pretty good. I am disappointed the stacks aren't taller. I was hoping for this:

January 1959 Franklinton flood on Brehl Ave. and view today, near W. Rich and Central. Not a whole lot has changed except for tree growth and removal.

Someone stapled these to power poles throughout my neighborhood.

I think it's just to be closer to grandchildren.
  11. I'm getting nauseous thinking about driving down from the 12th floor of parking...driving round and round and round....🤢
  12. No flood zone around here is 100' tall. The water conservation reservoir is just a new phrase for storm water detention.
  13. That really should be a retail spot along High St.
  14. Say goodbye to the Green Line. U.S. DOT Orders Review of All Grants Related to Green Infrastructure, Bikes https://usa.streetsblog.org/2025/03/12/breaking-u-s-dot-orders-review-of-all-grants-related-to-green-infrastructure-bikes
  15. I remember when that was a Zantigos and Super Duper was across the street. 😬
  16. The 161 Zone-In changes are now open for public comment. https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/92ef9a87f0de45c6985df391e7965a79/

  18. Yes, I inferred this and the site plan shows that site.
  19. Looks like 50 W Lane is back - This info is on the city's development tracker site, a really useful tool. https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/39172d7e3b49461e80affb3e639dfc0b Site plan and description are posted. The Lane Ave. side will be 100' tall and High St. side is 65'-9". I love that the current use is listed as Church/Bar. The church is a Baptist church.
  20. This is what was proposed 7 years ago or so. This had to go through zoning that has since been changed by zone-in. That's why it's labeled a hotel - minimum stay is one year. 🤣 Wonder if the developer will change the building heights along Indianola now that they're allowed to?
  21. Looks like something might be happening in front of the Ave on Indianola. There’s straw wattle (used for erosion control on construction sites) set up around one of the outparcels. As I recall, these were slated to be one or two story buildings with various retail or medical office uses.
  22. ^Probably should read 1000 space parking garage. 1000 SF is just over 6 parking spaces...
