  1. I am old but I don't remember that building
  2. It’s closed for construction, part of the overhaul of a good portion of the fairgrounds.
  3. The church next door is developing apartments and a coffee shop.
  4. The project at Woodruff and Waldeck is progressing. I like the scale of the building in this location.

  7. WFH was getting a bit weird. I had to have my windshield replaced but the Safelite tech was working from home that day. I had to drive to his house out in Hilliard where he replaced the glass. The service was fine but the overall experience was strange. /jk
  8. Why not just residential at this corner? The NE corner is residential and the SW corner is a parking lot. The NW corner is either residential or office (I'm not sure).
  9. The CAC can't seem to shake their anti-development reputation from 10 years ago. The CAC is generally for development and new housing these days. The Zoning Committee and the Commission have been passing ADU variances regularly. Before the end of last year the Commission was 6-3 for development by my estimation. There may be new people starting this year and I don't know what their thoughts are. If this proposed development follows the Zone-In code and isn't asking for variances, it won't appear before the Commission.
  10. View from the James at OSU. (I’m OK, just visiting a friend)

  13. This photo was attached to a newsletter email from the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. The terminal construction site is huge. There’s a new temporary road along the south side of the rental car garage. Traffic pattern changes:
  14. We'll be the judge of this proclamation....
  15. Totally agree!! Here's a post of mine from 2022 in the Columbus Historic Photos thread showing the south side of Long St. in this location. I imagine the north side was similar.
  16. ^^^That's the location of the recently completed Mulby Place. What you're posting is probably a proposal that wasn't accepted. And I hope they don't wipe out the building that houses Ena's Caribbean Kitchen. There are plenty of vacant parcels along Cleveland Ave.

Tall Pines area of Walnut Woods metro park in Groveport.
  18. Misaligned intersections are a classic Columbus thing - don't let the traffic engineers homogenize the city!!
  19. It's a cool building, glad to see it repurposed but the parking lot is really awkward.
  20. ^That rendering is horrendous! Just look at all that squaller! Thank goodness Worthington was able to squash this proposal.

  22. What about that building between The Joseph and the cap (former Blick and Callendar Cleaners)? That's been empty for years.
  23. Infill along W. Town in East Franklinton.
  24. I believe there's a pedestrian tunnel connecting the two.
