  1. Looks like there’s new life for the abandoned project on Michigan Ave. From the Harrison West FB page: http://harrisonwest.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/840_Michigan.pdf
  2. So this small project is now well underway. I think that many smaller developments create more character to a neighborhood than a block sized project. Plus this is replacing a one story building. Infill, infill, infill is the key to vibrancy! This is the view from Courtland Ave.
  3. Columns are up at Wilcox and High. Should see the elevated slab pretty soon.
  4. Chipotle building progress. Topped out on the 670 side.
  5. Yeah - that intersection will feel totally different with this new build. I'm looking forward to more infill projects along E. 5th between High and the railroad!
  6. On the plus side, it's easy to find a parking spot...?
  7. ^The Main and Parkview building is really coming together. I love how it looks, but viewed from this side it reminds me of a ‘70s professional building.
  8. Restoration work is underway at the old school on Neil at Hudson. The newer addition has been separated from the main building.
  9. My morning solo run took me through north campus. A couple of updates. Foundation work has started at Wilcox and High - that’s High in the background. This should be an interesting project.
  10. The City building is now closed to the general public. The City has stopped building inspections for occupied residential projects (additions & renovations). They are inspecting commercial and new build residential for now. If those inspections stop construction in Columbus will grind to a halt.
  11. Moving right along. I was watching iron workers scampering around - not for the faint of heart...
  12. ^That's a huge building. I'm surprised by the size every time I drive by.
  13. ^It's also the site of the very first OSU home football game - it used to be Recreation Park. Perhaps that is why is was excluded from German Village - there were never any historic homes on the site. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-athletics/2018/02/90991/saturday-spotlight-a-historical-look-back-at-ohio-states-first-football-team
  14. ^Good spot for a light rail station - next stop the Arena District. ?
  15. The next phase of the Ave on Indianola is going in front of the Clintonville Area Commission on Feb. 26. The good news is they are proposing two 3 story buildings (2 floors residential over office/retail) that may screen the first phase. The bad news is right smack in the middle is a one story garage building. 16. It's a gauntlet. Hopefully the mild winter sped up the construction.
  17. Your January photo shows storm sewer structures stockpiled on Convention Center Drive and your Tuesday photo shows they're installed. Lots of site prep work in an area with tons of underground infrastructure. That's good progress considering tricking construction! Looking forward to June!
  18. EDGE are land planners and landscape architects. They did River and Rich for Casto and Moody Nolan was the architect.
  19. From the Harrison West Society FB page: Here are the full minutes: http://harrisonwest.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/HWS_Minutes_02.19.2020.pdf?fbclid=IwAR1hgx7NkvyDhZ0boUpBqGAkg6sEXX-_JHF6dFkRRy-rX1pxW0oQZ3tb-bk
