  1. Zillow could be wrong - they list my house as 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and 780 Sq. Ft. 🤣
  2. It would've been awesome if it was like this one in Wicker Park in Chicago (with protected bike lanes!)
  3. Depends on traffic. I have a friend up that way and some days it takes them an hour to get downtown. I'm spoiled with a 10-15 minute drive to my office downtown.
  4. ^That Wendy's was considered to be one of the best since it's so close to Wendy's Corporate. Don't know if that's still the case.
  5. The Blue Lot permanently closes Dec. 9th. https://www.10tv.com/article/news/local/columbus-airport-blue-shuttle-lot-close-terminal-construction/530-91fa4ad6-6280-4b7e-a16f-3c6d96caeaca
  6. Am I reading the map correctly? Does the plan call for a protected bike lane on High St. from Worthington to German Village? As an older person, I do not like riding on High St. anymore. This would definitely change tings for me!

Couple of views of Southview Park. It was named Berliner Park in 1984 after Dispatch sports reporter Lou Berliner who was instrumental in local sports. Looking southwest along Greenlawn Ave. Thats the Greenlawn Dam at the bottom. This mid 1940s pic shows temporary housing built by the city to house returning WWII vets and their families. This mid 1960s pic with a similar viewpoint shows construction of I71 splitting Southview Park in half. The veterans community was eventually demolished to create more park space.
  8. Not true. Plenty on people walk in Linden.
  9. Good to see the Hudson St. multi-use path being used….
  10. Just wait until that casino hotel is finished - that will finally turn around the west side!! /s
  11. The Olentangy Trail is usually plowed before most city streets!
  12. Looks like the on street parking areas are on permeable pavers, allowing storm water to be stored beneath the pavement. I think this is similar to what's being installed on Weber in Linden.
  13. Purely a traffic engineering decision - another loss along Cleveland. Even though the building was boarded up, it could've been rehabbed. The small corner radius slowed turning traffic down making it safer for pedestrians. Now a larger radius curb will be installed to speed up turning traffic. "No Turn of Red" signs can now be removed. It's all about capacity and speed of cars. The same site lines happen all over the older parts of the city - is this a precedent to mow down more corner buildings?
  14. ^Stauf's on Neil is a cool coffee house. The Methodist church on Indianola at Maynard was turned into an event space called the Church of the Sparkling Unicorn....
  15. Seems like the 4th St buildings could forgo the parking portion and utilize the giant garage that serves the PNC building. They could all be connected to the elevated park.
  16. Cannon Dr. is open between Woody Hayes and W. 12th - I just drove on it.
  17. The site is fenced and the church buildings have been demolished. Also, the homes on the southeast corner of Woodruff and Waldeck are gone and the new building foundations are in.
  18. Per the latest plans I've seen, the NW BRT follows Olentangy River Rd. There was a scheme at one time that swung it through west campus, but that was nixed because it added too much time to the route.
