  1. Lane and Tuttle. The tower crane has been removed. Hopefully the exterior finished will look better than the most recent rendering. North side:
  2. The Wilson at Lane and High. There's a nice view of the project when traveling east on Lane towards High.
  3. Different developers with different architects in different eras will make an area look less corporate. Large developments that try to look organic just look disneyesque. High St. through the Short North feels very organic to me.
  4. ^The garage will feature a two story restaurant at Pearl and Lincoln and 16 apartments facing Lincoln. The garage will have 240 parking spaces. Completion is set for late 2018/early 2019. Here's the article: https://www.bizjournals.com/columbus/news/2017/11/28/five-story-parking-garage-part-of-second-phase-of.html
  5. The print version of Business First is reporting that Wood will begin work soon on Phase 2 of the 711 N. High project by constructing a parking garage at Lincoln and Pearl.
  6. I walked around the Castle project - I had not realized how large the project really is. The project wraps around the funeral home: The back side of the project:
  7. Here's the Brunner. Brick veneer is being laid on the south facade.
  8. Nice day for a walk. This three block area of High St. is really busy construction wise. Steel is going up quickly on the UDF project at High and 1st.
  9. Took a walk during lunch today. I like the scale of this project along Hubbard and Park pictured below. Scaffolding was being delivered so I imagine we'll begin to see the finish materials pretty soon.
  10. I think the glass east facade facing the park looks pretty good!
  11. ^I think once you get over 5 floors in this location you will have nice views of the riverfront.
  12. Lots of activity in the Parking Garage District - demolition of the Marconi Parking Garage is underway to make way for a temporary surface parking lot.
  13. ^^^The Clintonville Area Commission has been asking on Facebook if anyone has any info about the ongoing project.
  14. I drive by this everyday - it's really a huge building for the neighborhood. I'm curious to see how it looks when completed.
  15. The Moxy has started heavy construction with sheet pile shoring placement.
  16. The UDF site is active again - steel framing going up today.
  17. Tower crane is being erected right now.
  18. ^The building in on the right was part of the trolley carhouse complex. You can see the archways on what was the back wall of the carhouse where trolleys used to enter. Could be an interesting residence.
  19. Progress photo taken yesterday. I believe the top floor was recently poured.
  20. ^Totally agree. East Livingston and Cleveland Ave. ("downtown" Linden) fall into this category as well.
  21. Glad you're back! This project is moving forward - the former Haiku (and before that, the Trailways bus depot) has been torn down and site clearing is underway. I'm looking forward to see how this building looks!
  22. The Dispatch article has renderings: http://www.dispatch.com/news/20171011/possible-trolley-barn-project-could-bring-restaurants-market-residences-to-near-east-side
  23. The building really makes the park space seem smaller. It's a nice addition to the park, now if something could be done with the Rich St. facade of the garage!! The activity in the foreground in the first photo is preparations for a private event.
