  2. Unemployment claims in chart form.
  3. This should include: -A provision against stock buybacks for X years -Protections for workers (e.g., you can keep the money if you retain 90% of workers in the next two years) -Unemployment benefits for independent contractors Plus some others I'm probably blanking on at the moment.
  4. Tom Brady signs with Tampa Bay, officially now.
  5. Should...should I get into trading options? lol TSLA closed at $361 yesterday and they're far outpacing the market in their downward trend over the last month.
  6. Yeah, markets are wild. I saw Bitcoin dropped 50% in 24 hours. Have a feeling volatility is here to stay until there's stabilization with covid-19.
  7. A ref from the CAA tested positive. So...yeah.
  8. Whoops. Stock markets just closed their worst single day of trading since 1987.
  9. The MLS is suspending its season immediately and indefinitely due to COVID-19 outbreak.
  10. A 2nd Jazz player - Donovan Mitchell - has tested positive. Jazz players are saying Gobert was being very careless in the locker room touching other players and their belongings, per reports. The Jazz were just on the road for several games in the last few days. Played in arenas that also house NHL teams as well.
  11. ^I highly suspect that the NHL will follow the NBA and suspend the regular season. Going to be a scheduling nightmare, but they could bump everything back about a month. The harder part, practically speaking, for the NHL is that the ice sheets in arenas do really poorly in warmer weather so it might not be as easy as saying, "hey, move everything back a month" because that bumps late playoff games into July. We'll see though.
  12. Rudy Gobert - who tested positive and two days ago wiped every microphone and recorder after leaving a press gaggle - should face all penalties applicable to him under the law (if any).
  13. Perfect example of why (over)reacting to any single day or two of the market is silly. Now we're back to Monday's levels and potentially heading to a new 52-week low. If you're a short-term trader, you're freaking out. If you have a longer horizon (20+ years) then this shouldn't matter.
  14. To be fair, 2008 also had a lot of "big gain" days. It's just that the severity of the extreme days going down far outweighed those. If you are consistent in your investing and not (over)reacting to market blips - i.e. trying to time the market - you're much more likely to come out ahead in the long run.
  15. More fun.
  16. Rinse. Repeat.
  17. Another fun day in the equities markets.
  18. https://www.columbusalive.com/news/20200303/pierogi-mountain-leaving-wunderbar-in-german-village?fbclid=IwAR3IAUaqKwtuSRSjP_62pdlxRvmcx5BN2CeXFwwekapdANKTQRvTmuAuCF4 Pierogi Mountain will be leaving the Wunderbar space on March 23rd. They will remain at 23rd and Bourbon Street, their home location. Their facebook post hints at changes coming to Wunderbar.
  19. Columbus just held three sporting events with 17k-18k people at each event, all in one day. Are we going to start banning spectators at all hockey, basketball, and soccer events as well? Maybe cancel all those Clippers games too?

Somewhat related, though the age group is younger than college students.
  21. Did he not come back because he bet on Fury or Wilder though? LOL
