  1. Freddie isn't ready to be a head coach.
  2. Welp, this is what happens when developers regulate the city council and not the other way around.

It's pretty funny, especially if you like Canadian humor. It's also a bit one-note and not much else, so if you're expecting development or whatever out of 5 seasons you'll be disappointed.

All currently known oil reserves will be completely depleted within 50 years (or slightly less) at current projected usage rates. This isn't a "EVs are vastly superior" type of argument. It's a "EVs will be the only viable option for our kids to drive when they're parents because oil is literally running out" argument.

This anecdote tells us nothing about Tesla's revenue or about their prospects to become profitable. It also has nothing to do with Electric Cars, this topic (Musk has his own topic, somewhere, I believe).
  6. 2-5 is still 2-5 and not many of the issues that have been highlighted appear to be getting fixed. Blown out by a .500 Titans team and blown out by a surprising 9ers team. That said, the schedule gets markedly easier - Buffalo is the only remaining team currently above .500 before the Week 16 rematch with Baltimore. Cincy twice and Miami should = 3 automatic wins. Split the other remaining 6 and it's 8-8. Do slightly better and it becomes 9-7.

Auto sales down everywhere = fine for the Big 3, bad for Tesla. Weird why you're holding one company to a different standard than others. And that you still didn't address Tesla's changing of their product mix. (Not that I don't disagree with U.S. sales declining being concerning, but context matters.)
  8. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/gdp-report-3q-2019-advance-estimate-economy-203535589.html Q3 GDP growth slowed to 1.9% (and I'd put money on this getting revised down in the coming months like it usually does).
  9. It's crazy to me how fast these units have sold out, yet they continue to build these middling ~12 story buildings. The demand is there!

Declining revenue was because of their product mix - they are intentionally moving away from the higher-priced Models S and X. They leaned more into the Model 3 obviously, which comes at a lower price. Also, do you care to tell us how all automakers did in the U.S. in Q3? Hint: similar results as Tesla.
  11. I'm fine with firing Freddie for this stupidity alone.
  12. Fields and Okudah? ?

Facebook takes in $16 billion+ in *quarterly* ad revenue. The Trump campaign's ad checks are one drop in one bucket out of a hundred buckets.
  14. https://gatehousenews.com/sullivant/suffering-on-sullivant-part-1/site/dispatch.com/ Three part series on drugs and prostitution in the Hilltop area, mostly along Sullivant Ave. The Dispatch also produced a short video with some interviews of people in the area.
  15. I walk to work, so if I am in a rush after work I take a scooter about 3/4 of a mile. The garage that I could park in is several blocks away and I'd be up at least 3 floors, so it wouldn't save any time. There's not a great place to lock my bike either. But it's really once in a blue moon. I think it's more for the novelty than anything. Plus, people are lazy and don't want to ride their bikes/pedal in traffic, bring a lock, etc.
  16. Plugging your head in the sand isn't a solution.
  17. The line is OSU -14.
  18. I don't think it'll be a 30-point blowout, but the Badgers showed weaknesses at Illinois. OSU also was getting gashed by Northwestern's run game at times and that's UW's bread and butter. Hopefully everyone is back healthy to help out. Probably a bit of a slug fest until the 2nd quarter when the offense breaks it open.
  19. Not #6 anymore. #choke
  20. The Chicago-Columbus passenger rail line has been talked about for almost 10 years. I thought there was an update on funding awhile back? Anyway, Hyperloop still doesn't exist.
  21. They're going to have, like, one nice weekend for that rooftop until next spring.
  22. Not at all. Look up his CF%, xGF%, and points/60. He's always been a positive possession player and scores at pretty high rates (it's just that his ice time is always kept low). Torts is dumb for not utilizing an offensive weapon like Milano more often.
  23. Not really. He actually plays pretty well...when he's allowed to play. The dumb coach plays him 8 minutes a night, though.
  24. This kind of news is most often covered by Columbus Underground and Columbus Business Journals. I don't know any of the folks there, but I'm guessing both probably have a generic contact email at the very least?
