  1. ^Wasn't last year's schedule based on 2016 performance?
  2. Is this the 2nd or 3rd time they're going to have to postpone the MLS deadline? I mean, don't they have to have a hard deadline at some point for next season? (Or is the deadline for the 2020 season?)
  3. Vegas has the O/U on 2018 win total at 4.5 (I thought I saw 5.5 recently, too?). I'll take the under still.
  4. OH-10 and OH-14 are equally Republican or less so than OH-12 as well. So there are potentially five seats in play if things stay the same or get worse for the GOP. Not that I think there's any chance that they'd all go Republican, but it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to see 3 or 4 of them flip. OH-16 has a PVI of R+8 with no incumbent running. Unlikely, but crazier things have happened.
  5. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/ohio-finds-votes-special-elections_us_5b6c0aeae4b0530743c72e77 588 uncounted votes were tabulated yesterday. Balderson's lead is down to 1,564 votes, or 0.8%. If the absentee and provisional ballots drop that to 0.5% it would trigger on automatic recount.
  6. I'll easily take the under.
  7. OH-1 and OH-15 have partisan leans that are less Republican than OH-12. So there's 3 seats, possibly.
  8. Ram is trolling. Anyone who can actually read and comprehend what happened understands that districts swinging 10-13 points to the left = bad time for the Republicans in the fall.
  9. It's too close to call as of now in the OH-12 special election. Some 8,433 ballots are still outstanding - absentee and provisional ballots. Balderson is clinging to a 1,734 vote lead, or 0.9%. If O'Connor were to win the outstanding ballots by 60.2% he would win the race. So Balderson is certainly sitting in better position, but this was a district Tiberi won by 34 points and Trump carried by 11 points less than two years ago. To be a virtual tie is a terrible sign for Republicans. It also reinforces why they gerrymandered the **** out of the state and have been pushing for voter roll purges the last several years.
  10. OH-15 might be even more gerrymandered than OH-12.
  11. Does this location work better than the site near Abbott?
  12. DarkandStormy replied to seicer's post in a topic in General Transportation
Musketeers will spin it positively, I'm sure.
  13. Don't think Balderson's "We don't want someone from Franklin County representing us" comment will have enough time to take hold. But I'm certain O'Connor will be playing that on blast leading up to the November election.
  14. Still true in 2018, no?
  15. Ezekiel Elliott's dad showed up, too. EDIT - thought you said "Zach and his dad" as in Zach Smith.
  16. So will they change their name to "Yoga on Dennison?"
  17. So anywhere from 30 to 200 people showed up at the Support Urban Meyer rally yesterday. Pretty small number for a metro area of 2+ million and some people coming from out of town. Still dumb for that many people to gather outside the stadium on a Monday and make signs and yell. What did it accomplish? Is Urban Meyer watching Fox 28 from his living room and thinking, "WHEW! At least these ~200 people support me no matter what!"
  18. Coleman fetched a 2020 7th round pick lmao. First rounder in 2016 turns into a 2020 7th round pick. Amazing asset management. The Browns had 11 first round picks from 2009-2016. All of them are gone from the team. It's truly remarkable what the team can squander.
  19. The NRCC wants retired folks to trust a Republican, you know...the party that has said they want to cut social spending and reform Medicare/Medicaid/Social Security to help plug the deficit, with their Medicare, a form of socialism. So they're admitting some forms of socialism are good? Does their base agree?
  20. O'Connor may win early voting by ~30 points per reports.
  21. Here's my prediction: Urban/Gene Smith/OSU will say they let the police investigation run its course in regards to Zach Smith in 2015. The police didn't arrest/press charges so in their eyes Zach was cleared. They couldn't terminate without proof. They can't play prosecutor and judge, that's the police/DA's job to investigate. I don't agree with it, but I'm guessing that's their story. I don't know the details on 2018 and what led to his firing because if I remember I thought it sounded similar to what's coming out about 2015. Is that right? Either way, Urban knew about 2009, hired him again in 2011, knew about 2015, but waited until 2018 to cut ties? Doesn't look good.
  22. He's a Democrat who'd...vote for the leader of the Democratic Party for House Speaker if he were elected. Can you believe??
  23. Urban's statement is out. Says he knew about 2015 and reported up the chain of command. So his defense is he lied to the media/public and knowingly employed a credibly accused domestic abuser (who he knew about six years earlier in 2009) for three more years.
  24. There is an internet message board rumor going around. The gist is that Urban would be looking at 3-4 game suspension, multiple people at OSU knew and reported it to police. The police were called 66 times in 90 days and eventually stopped responding because C. Smith was a crazy drunk who called the police during fights. That is the, as of now, unsubstantiated rumor going around the internet. No one has named a source other than a "friend" close to the program. Posting it now to see if it comes to fruition in the coming days.
