  1. ^McDermott has already said he's staying at Creighton. ESPN botched that one.

Not sure your point here but the Cavs didn't have Kevin Love for the 2015 Finals and Irving only played in the first two games. You're proving my point. No one cares about injuries. I was being sarcastic. "Oh, the 15-0 (soon to be 16-0) playoff record by the Warriors is tainted because Leonard sprained his ankle in Game 1." Injuries happen all the time in sports. Get over it. Like I said, literally everyone else outside of a few Cleveland fans are acknowledging this Warriors team is one of the greatest teams of all-time. Not sure why some Cavs fans are clinging to this notion they're on the same level as them. They're not. They just got 38 and 39 point performances from Kyrie and LeBron and still lost.

No team has gone 15-0 to start a playoffs. That is, by definition, on another level. The best player in the West going down in game 1 of WCF may have helped the Warriors. Hahahaha stick to that defense then. History doesn't give a ****. Remember when the Warriors lost their starting center in the Finals last year and thus put an asterisk on the Cavs' title? Oh wait.

Watch the last two minutes of last night's game and see You never miss an opportunity to gloat. Wait until the series is over, kid. Not gloating, just thought Cavs fans were setting themselves up. This Warriors team is just on another level. No, they're not on another level.... The Cavs are just playing like crap. Lol ok. 15-0 suggests otherwise. The best player in the West going down in game 1 of WCF may have helped the Warriors. Keep trolling, man. Nice style. Kevin Durant went down in game 1? It's ok to admit the Warriors are just better. Everyone else sees it.

I guess I understand the logic...try to convert 3 large hubs (6.5m+ passengers annually at Hopkins, CMH, and CVG) plus a few smaller airports (Dayton, Akron, Youngstown) into two mega-hubs and perhaps get some draw in from other areas. Toledo - sorry, head to Detroit? The issue is that this would be a massive undertaking, costing billions upon billions. The light rail is a nice feature, I guess, but passenger rail would be more effective if it connected the 3C's where a bulk of the economic activity is happening in the state. Not only that, but all the existing airports have spent a lot of money on upgrades, expansions, etc. over the years. I think the amount to build everything up will far outweigh the benefits.

Come on. A 73-win team that was a Draymond kick to the nads (or Bogut's injury) away from winning back-to-back titles (probably) just added the 2nd best player in the world and are an unstoppable force the last two months. Cavs on pure home adrenaline will win one but the Warriors finish it off in Game 5. The Warriors have perhaps the most talented team of the last 25+ years, possibly ever. 4 of the top 20 players in the NBA, two league MVPs, multiple HOFers, some of the best shooters the league has ever seen...they're just an absolute machine. You believe in media hype too much...Were you even around for the Lakers and Boston teams of the 80's? Notice how I said "the last 25 years"..... So you were around for some of the Bulls' teams from the 90's.... https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-best-nba-teams-of-all-time-according-to-elo/ That's funny...the article isn't updated for this year's Warriors. I do see '14-'15 and oh wait, the Warriors have improved from that squad.

Warriors blow out Cavs again. This just feels different than last year's 0-2 deficit. Don't know if Cavs even pull out a single win.

  23. In the other scenario, you draw down your emergency fund for a non-emergency because you don't want to pay $200-$300 in interest. I'll pay that little extra to keep my cash/emergency fund there for when I really need it. You're not guaranteed 7% for retirement, so why do it? There's risk in all investments. I've mentioned VWINX, which isn't guaranteed, but it's only had one five-year rolling return below 4% annual returns (2008 - 5 year return was 3.36%). This is just one example, but one out of 30+ years below 4% annual returns...that's a risk I'm willing to take. It's just a personal preference and how much risk you're willing to assume. If you can get greater than 4% over the life of your loan, you've lost out. If you get less than 4% annual returns, then buying in cash upfront was right.

ESPN (Zach Lowe?) had a good piece yesterday on the switching D. And on offense, the Cavs opted to try a pick-and-roll for LeBron with whoever Steph Curry was guarding. This put Curry through punishing screen after screen on the defensive end and forced him into likely foul situations (fouled out in Game 6 with his mouthguard tantrum to boot). They also benefited from Draymond being an idiot and getting suspended for Game 5, which set the stage for Kyrie/Lebron 40 nights. Iguodala is not 100% this year and he's 3 for 27 from deep in the playoffs - if the Warriors want to use him as the primary defender on LeBron, that's a huge liability on the offensive end for them. Will the Cavs have issues with Zaza & McGee as the rim protectors for GS? Cavs also benefited last year with Bogut going down to injury which opened up the lane more for them. I still think the Cavs have to play nearly flawless for 2 games and then hope for Kyrie/LeBron to have an insane game or two to carry them to 4 wins. For as crazy efficient as they've been on offense, the Warriors are even better.
