  1. Do construction companies speculate on the price of materials like lumber just as transportation companies speculate on the price of fuel?
  2. Ehh, I'm not so sure. If you click back through the construction cam day by day, it doesn't appear the height of the crane has increased at all. Maybe it's just the perspective of the two pictures above.
  3. Nope. I didn't expect them to pull the plug yet. My hope has been that they will pull a Chicago or Louisville and undo the rebrand after the rollout completely flops. Look up what both of those organizations did after their rollouts flopped.
  4. It's rumored that there is currently an emergency meeting taking place between some of the leaders of the supporters groups and the FO. The next 24 hours will be interesting. The FO can either prove that they value the input of their fan base, or prove that they don't give a damn what their most loyal supporters think. Their true colors are about to be revealed, one way or the other.
  5. I still can't believe they used a crawler for 250 High.
  6. At this rate Hilton tower will top out before the apartment building gets to the 6th floor.
  7. I love these two shots. It's going to be awesome when the peninsula is fully built out.
  8. Hey @Imwalle is the crane up yet at Gravity 2?
  9. Looks like the crane will be going up tomorrow for the Dodd Parking Garage.
  10. @DevolsDancedo you have any idea of when groundbreaking will occur?
  11. Delta's CMH-BOS route is officially back!
  12. Here's the view from the OHPC HD construction cam, which finally updated for the first time in a month yesterday.
  13. I'm guessing it's still a 2022 groundbreaking. Back in February they filed a different engineering application with the city, and then about a week later we found out groundbreaking would occur in 2022. Previously, we had heard mid-2021. It would be awesome if they could push up the groundbreaking, but I doubt that will happen.
  14. ^ Based on that pic, it looks like we'll be seeing a crane jump within the next month or so.
  15. This engineering application was submitted on Friday.... https://portal.columbus.gov/Permits/Cap/CapDetail.aspx?Module=Engineering&TabName=Engineering&capID1=21ARY&capID2=00000&capID3=00116&agencyCode=COLUMBUS&IsToShowInspection=

I was referring to the limited access highway form of 315.
  17. That actually started about a month ago.

Nope, it wouldn't be there for another 10 years or so.
  19. Yep, they installed it like two or three days ago. I have to believe the Westminster Thurber project will get their crane up soon as well so we will be very close to 20 before too long.
  20. The height of this building is exactly what should be encouraged throughout Franklinton, especially along Broad.
  21. I wish I had the money to be forced to downgrade from Grandview/SN/VV to Cville...
  22. We've also seen the old Anderson's site undergo a huge residential redevelopment, very similar to this.
